Same. Not quite the same context as you, but … yeah.
Highly recommend. CBD will not get you high. It just helps you relax because it - for most people - relieves inflammation and muscle tension.
Heck, in a lot of places you can get CBD products at non-dispensary stores.
My co-worker needed a ride to PetsMart, to get frozen mice for his idiot deadbeat roommates. I figured, Charm would probably like a snack, too. So we each got a 6-pack of frozen mice (yes, really) and since there’s a Panera in the same strip lot, I treated myself to some fresh bread. Dropped my co-worker back off st his home (we both work at 3, so I’m picking him up again soon) and am now thawing a mousie and inhaling fresh bread with butter.
Need to get actually dressed, since I just threw on a sweatshirt to get his/mine errands run.
Off to irk soon. Will I be running the fryers? Sauce’n’cheese setup? The drive thru register? Or perhaps all 3 at once? Who knows? We’ll find out soon, on the next episode of Gotta Go To Work.
Top o’ the mornin’ to ya! It’s still morning here. I’m not Irish. I don’t wear green because I don’t have any green clothing. When I was a kid, if you weren’t wearing green, the Irish kids would pinch you. Well, our (Catholic) school uniforms were blue plaid, no green, so we Italian and Polish kids would cut shamrocks out of green cardboard and wear those. One year I resented the whole pinching thing so much, I wrote on my shamrock, “I’m a little d_go.” (It was one of those words that was OK if Italians said it about ourselves.) My mother laughed until she cried.
I skipped the prednisone this morning because I’m feeling better and am hoping to avoid it. Fingers crossed!
You say this like it’s a bad thing.
I figured that was the reason. I hope you have a safe, smooth trip.

wordy, I’m so sorry you lost your friend. Congrats to overlyboy on his back-a-versary, though! And we’ll all be cheering him on on Monday.
FCD and SIL bought all the stuff they needed, but my poor sweetie was really hurting, so we’ll go back tomorrow to finish the installation. He’s napping now and I’ve got a load of jeans in the washer. It’s rainy and dreary and apart from 2 loads of laundry, nothing will be accomplished today. So there’s that.
I completely forgot to acknowledge St. Patrick’s Day here…and I’m half Irish (on my dad’s side)! I did remember to wear silver shamrock earrings for my on-camera meeting this morning, plus a t-shirt with my last name and a shamrock (which I got from InkPixi a bunch of years ago). And if I were to go anywhere today, I’d put on my Claddagh ring: I’ve worn one every day – if I’ve been out of the house – since I was in college.
Éire go Brách!
(The rest of me is Italian. Back in the day, that grandfather – rest his bigoted soul – used to tell my mom and her brother that they could marry whoever they wanted as long as they weren’t black or Irish. And they both married Irish. Heh.)
For my sanity/happiness? Not a bad thing at all. For my single-ness? Well…
Howdy Y’all! We went to the hog trough GC, where they did indeed have corned beast 'n cabbage (not as good as mine by a long shot), then it was back to da cave for nappage. Now we await the promised rain. Thus it is in swampland.
wordy so sorry about your friend. Happy backaversary to overlyboy and good luck to him on the driver’s test!
MOOOOOOM it ain’t a home improvement project unless it involves at least two trips to Lowe’s/Home Despot/hardware sto’. I think that is like international law.
shoe hope irk goes OK and that Charm enjoyed her snack.
Oopsie I vote stay home. Then again, we are semi-hermits and go with that option as often as possible.
Bumba doesn’t matter who cuts my hair it always looks like it did before except a little shorter. I did my fair share (and a few other people’s share) of pot in kolledge. This is most likely the reason I have a very hazy memories of the mid 70s.
I broke up with my boyfriend on Tuesday. I wish not to go into any specifics, but I found out that he had lied about some things that prevented the relationship from working. We’re still friends, but I still hurt.
I paled a bit at this until I parsed backwards and made some assumptions about which what for whom.
Plus thank you for reminding me that Panera makes good bread. My go to bakery for bread for the past few years changed their recipes recently and I suspect is no longer baking it on store premises so I need to find a new source. Life is too uncertain to not eat good bread (and lots of it, with real butter). The mousse imbibers are on their own, I have no advice for them.
Got the houseirk done and groceries bought. On the way home from Krogering, some @$$hole decided to park his beater in the lane that I was traveling, get out and walk up to the trailer facing the 2 lane, busy street. This was on the corner of a T-intersection 3-way stop. Had traffic backed up in all but one direction. Dumb@$$!
Hanging out in the studio this evening, given that I’m allergic to the outdoors this time of year.
St. Joseph is also the patron saint of Poland so we wear red as well and eat Polish food.
I did as well and had to reread it.
So I imagine that must be lactose free, correct? Our daughter loved cheese but she is very lactose intolerant so while Hubs and I are having mac & cheese and breaded baked fish fillets tonight, she won’t be able to eat the mac & cheese when she arrives.
Watched basketball yesterday pretty much non-stop and not quite as much today. My Spartans beat USC 72-62 so we’re smiling and the lads are still dancing. They’ll play Marquette on Sunday. #GoGreen
I’ve never made pulled pork before but there was a good price on port loins so I bought one. Found a pretty simple recipe, made the BBQ rub this morning, cut as much of the fat off the loin as I could then rubbed it well and put in crock pot. Another hour and it should be ready. Hope mine turns out as well as the people who commented on that recipe.
Kroger had 4x your purchases for gas points today so went Krogering. Spent $51 and received 204 gas points. Have to get going to get my daughter’s room cleaned and clean sheets put on. Well perhaps I’ll internet a little more first since she’s just started the trek.
