OK, I will go back to the horsepistol later this afternoon. Mr. Frank will be discharged tomorrow. He would have been discharged today but the stoopid nursin’ home does not accept patients on Sunday. Dumb! I foresee nappage in the near future.
I have the worst headache ever. I think I shall make a pot of coffee to see if it’s due to no caffiene. I was up most of the night with it. So now I am all blurfy and sleepy.
Salmon smokeage is complete and **FCD **has declared it yummerrific, or words to that effect. It was OK as far as I’m concerned - I prefer my salmon baked or grilled. But my sweetie likes it, so I’ll make it again. My mom likes smoked salmon, so I’ll take her some - yay for my vacuum-seal bags!
We had a nice rain shower that lasted an hour or so. My car got a nice rinse - I left it out on the driveway so I could bring in the smoker when done. Once said smoker cools down, I’ll bring it in, then put the car in the garage. And that should end my day.
I downloaded some books via this computer to my new microSD, and popped it into the tablet. Success!!! I shall have reading material!
I forgot some big news. We have called a new Priest. He is young! From the looks of his picture he’s approximately twelve years old. He’ll actually start October 1st and will make a couple of visits between now and then. He is Fr. Nick Roosevelt and is currently an Assistant at a church in Phoenix, AZ. We will be his first for real where he is head honcho church.
Does Fr. Nick have any idea what he’s getting into?? :eek:

Today was booooring. I was gonna go into town for the festival that was on, but every time I decided to head over, the rain started up again, and much as I like watching free shows, I’ll take a pass on standing in the rain to do so.
I’m basically stuck waiting to hear back from people about viewings and things before I take a trip down to go look at some potential housing on Tuesday. Annoyingly, it looks like it’ll be a one day trip, which was not the plan, because the school holidays are just starting properly, and everywhere cheap to stay is full. It’s only a 2-3 hour drive each way (in theory, depending on tourist traffic), so it’s doable, but that still is more than I’d like to do in one day.

New YP graduated from Seminary in 2013! I followed a link from the church’s facebook page to his facebook page and listened to a sermon. He can preach. That’s a kind of big thing with me.
MOOOOOOM he knows he’s goin’ to be herdin’ Luteruns and Whiskypalians. As to what he’s been told about me, well, who knows!

Dinner was home-made pizza and other than that I basically worked around the house getting ready for Knoebels Thursday to Sunday. I saw VET offered for today at irk and Nancy Reaganed it. I just said no.
