If you could call it that. Only a 2.3, but it was just about 2 miles from where I live north of Culver City. It woke me up, but I’d quite forgotten about it until the news mentioned it.
There was another quake out in San Bernardino County, but I didn’t feel that one.
Ah, ignore my post in the other thread.
I think “we” had a 4-point-something a couple of weeks ago when I was in Antwerp, which was surprising. I sort of sat up, thought 'is this an earthquake? Nah, I’m not in California. . ." and continued my day.
I couldn’t reach your first link. The San Bernadino quake was about 0300. I don’t know what time the quake near Culver City was, as I didn’t bother to check the time. (I dropped off to sleep again almost immediately.) Since I woke up so easily I think the CC quake must have been later, but I don’t know.
See, I was going to comment on how hard it is to relate to Left-Coasters having this blasé attitude towards such powerful forces of nature…
…until Mrs. Tygr reminded me that I slept through a hurricane.
…and Tygr Mom reminded me that I, too, had slept through an earthquake.
