Some ISPs offer basic internet service for around six dollars a month. Has anyone had any experience with these?
Mine charges $8.95 a month and I really have no complaints about the past year that I’ve subscribed. They have tons of different numbers and decent dial-up speeds. They’ve never had any blackout times that I’ve known about, either.
BTW, mine is Highstream.net.
I had access4less for many months and it worked very well (access4less.com I believe).
I switched to DSL. The problems began.
Basically, they have only email support, so when I told them I was quitting they said ok, and continued to charge me. I think the billing dept. is completely separate company, and that’s why I had problems. I’m currently waiting for a respoinse from the BBB to get 12 bucks (so far) they have charged me while I didn’t use the service.
