Election Day [Week][Month[s]] [Year] 2020 follow-along thread

My tone is dickish because you are not answering a very simple question.

Why can’t there be a faithless elector?

And you have no idea who will win what states at this point. You may have good, educated guesses and you may very well turn out to be right (and I certainly hope so) but that is neither here nor there.

Why can’t there be faithless electors?

The bleeding in AZ may have ended. The gap just widened from 46257 Biden lead to 46667 Biden lead.

Please go back and read my post #3074 more closely. I already said if it was at 270, it could be an issue.

I think I heard on the news that those Arizona Native American precincts were running 90% Biden. In this CNN map - an awesome tool that lets you look county by county

I see a couple of large rural counties with Biden votes of around 65-70%, but those are BIG counties and I assume they are also home to lots of really hard core conservatives. I’m taking a guess - not knowing the state at all - that maybe the NA population is the reason these rural counties are blue.

No way to know what’s being counted - that’s been the issue in most of the delayed counting

my little inner teenage boy keeps giggling every time John King says “the President is steadily shrinking in Pennsylvania”

And just look at the AREA of them! They’re totally BLUE! That means the area of land, I mean, the PEOPLE, definitely want Biden!

You said:

Why aren’t faithless electors a thing this election? You said nothing about 270 here. And I showed you 270 is a very possible outcome. What rules enacted when stop them?

Please stop. He clearly said it would be an issue if it was 270-268, but he just doesn’t accept the premise it will be that tight. You’ve gnawed that bone down to a nub - go find a new one.

He changed his tune once he was caught out pretending there was some kind of law against it.

Who gives a shit? Move on.

I just looked at Georgia and Trump is ahead by 1775 votes. No I did not forget a zero. This brings me to the nightmare scenario where Biden takes Georgia and Trump takes everything else, leaving us with a tie which I am not sure I could survive. It’s my birthday. Can’t I at least get Pennsylvania as my present?

Myself, I am cautiously optimistic. The mail-in ballots seem to be in favor of the Democrats. I won’t complete relax until Biden hits 270, but I think the odds are on his side.

It would take an anti-miracle for Trump to hold PA right now.

Biden needs 58% of remaining ballots to win GA. And he now only needs 57.5% of remaining votes to win PA.

If he keeps getting the votes at the same rate he’ll win GA by 4,200 and PA by 84,000.

And there’s no reason to think he won’t.

Same deal in Nevada. Pretty much all that’s left outstanding is Clark County. That’s Las Vegas, and they will likely favor Biden heavily.

I"m going by this map and personal knowledge of who lives where. Yes, Mohave County is voting blue and there are a whole lot of NA’s there, but if you look at Apache County, its RED. Yavapai County, which is also home of several NA reservations is fucking RED. Pinal County, which is where the (fuck, forgot their names, but their rez crosses into Mexico) is RED.

Sorry, I might need to smoke a whole lot of now legal weed and calm down. I was not yelling at you, but seriously, how does this sort of stupid shit happen.

Does it help that I am absolutely sure about PA? And I am a worrier. Trump’s lead is going down by 10k every 15 mintues, and all the counties left will go heavily for Biden. I think it was late TUE that Carville and others were absolutley sure Biden would win by 100k. I didn’t know how they got there exactly, with a 400k deficit

Based on nothing more than the outstanding math, PA seems to be the most likely to go to Biden of all the uncalled states

Yeah even Trump himself seems to be flipping out over PA - so you know it’s good news for Biden
