Without the trump name attached to his comments, no one will listen. Heck, a lot of people are going to stop listening to him in any case. At least I sincerely hope so. trumpism needs to be consigned to the dustbin of history.

I don’t believe the Australian parliamentary system for choosing the Prime Minister is hugely different than the UK system, and here a faithless parliamentarian is entirely possible, if unlikely. Suppose a party has a leading minority after an election, and has the ability to create a coalition with another party in order to form a government with the most minimal coalition majority. Two MP’s from either the leading party or the coalition party announce that they are unwilling to support the coalition, and will instead be independent and support the opposition. If all the MP’s from the other parties support the opposition, they’re no longer the opposition and you have a different government and Prime Minister.
I won’t relax until I see Biden take the oath of office in January.
(And then we start with McConnell and the new Supreme Court so the slog is only starting.)

Look, it’s very simple:
- Democrats told their voters to vote by mail, and they did.
- Trump told his voters NOT to vote by mail and to vote in person, and they did.
- · In-person votes are counted before mail-in ballots; thus:
- First-counted in-person returns showed a Trump lead
- Later-counted mail-in returns show a Biden lead
- Legal ballots postmarked before the polls closed, but received after the polls closed, have not been counted yet (as of 10:00 EST 11/06/20).
Trump complains that he’s being cheated. But he’s ALSO bragging that Republicans made gains in Congress. They’re not separate ballots, folks. They’re the same ballots. Trump supporters may not know this, but people are not required to vote for representatives of the same party as their choice for president. It’s called ‘splitting the ticket’.
