It’s on CNN now. Meadows is the guy I liked to call “the shirt” because as a Congressman he never seemed to wear a jacket, preferring the “get things done” kind of shirtsleeve affectation. Though the only thing he ever seemed to get done was utter spittle-mouthed accusations against anyone daring to criticize the Orange Imbecile, while praising said imbecile to high heaven at every opportunity. Naturally his reward was not long in coming in a world where being a shameless sycophant was the top and only qualification*, and he got to be Chief of Staff (and had to start suiting up with a jacket). And then he got to have COVID, following in the footsteps of his idol.
Do you read Goody’s movie reviews. AZ Journal, I think, I grew up with him in Radford, VA. Which I am proud to say, voted for Biden, although I think most of that were student votes.
I wouldn’t have done it if he had been white. Well, I would have given my name and number, but I wouldn’t have waited because I was worried that the victim would end up in jail or dead. I’m praying that Biden will make it so I don’t have to do it again.
On MSNBC, Brian Williams quoted a Bloomberg journalist (I didn’t catch the name) who said that four other Trump aides also had tested positive, and that the WH tried unsuccessfully to keep Meadows’ diagnosis under wraps.
