I can see it now. Closed casket at the funeral and rumors of Trump sightings near Moscow persist for years.
Watching CNN last night. These votes will not be counted for now. If it comes down to the wire and we need these votes to decide the race, they will then revisit the issue.
And in the unlikely event we DO need those votes. The justices are likely to decide to count them.
From what I understand, they are to be kept separate, and are allowed to be processed, not added to the count at this time.

Putin pity party?
I thought he caught it a few months ago, shortly after he wore a gas mask to work to mock how overblown he thought the precautions were. Did he catch it again, or is he fighting lingering effects of it?
Edit: I guess he was just exposed to it back in March and quarantined, but did not catch it until now

Which leaves the Trump camp in a bit of a bind. Trump has been railing against these votes, and he knows that these votes are likely to lean heavily toward Biden, but if Trump’s behind then the only way to possibly catch up is to count the votes. It’s a delicious dilemma!
Meanwhile, in the House: I’ve heard lots of analysis this week on how the Dems managed to lose seats, and heard the same reason repeatedly: the “socialist!” charge really stuck. If that’s true, don’t expect to see much of AOC & the Squad for the next few years; that’s not the face of the party anybody wants to see.

According to MSNBC, Biden’s team says the race should have been called for him by now.
I think it’s also true that many people are worried about the economy and voted for downticket Republicans, but couldn’t stomach 45 and voted against him.
Oh, good, another four years of the Democratic right-wing attacking the left-wing. Only this time without the horror of DJT as President. This should go well.
Apparently he’s out on the golf course right now, so I’m guessing that’s off.
