I’m afraid to go to bed. The last time I did that on election night, I woke up to much wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Only 3% of Wayne County is in, and I can’t envision a scenario where Loser Donald wins Detroit.
I don’t know how I’ll sleep.
Again, that’s because OH counts the mail-in votes first. Maybe Biden can still take it, but these results so far are in no way an indication that he is doing better than expected.
Drugs and alcohol. (prescription drugs, of course.)
Maybe a little Tylenol PM?
Pennsylvania is counting incredibly slowly - only 19% of the vote is counted so far. At this rate they’ll barely be in time for the 2024 election. Since it’s so key, it means there may be no result tonight unless some weird shit happens.
I know the feeling. Hard to express what waking up that day was like.
The US needs more people who understand these kinds of things. Plitics, in the individual level, is complicated. It’s not simply “the black vote”, which as whole goes D, but different communities and needs. If BIden loses, it’d be for stuff like not getting that.
Commencing to beer.
Madison Cawthorn won.
This is from him.
I’m going to go throw up.
Hilariously, I thought I would get some writing done tonight. I’ll be lucky if I can focus on a TV show for an hour.
Sounds like a movie villain.
Same here.
You had one job! One job! Open the polling booth on time!
Michigan is a bit of a shock. Maybe it’s the opposite of Ohio and they are counting mail-in votes later? Biden is underperforming Hillary most everywhere and I find it hard to believe that polls could be off by that much.
Ohio is at 69% (nice) and the vote is tightening.
Oklahoma, where the wind goes sweeping through the brain.
Trump is on pace overtake Biden in NC.
This has a really eerily familiar feeling
Biden will lose Texas and Ohio by very narrow margins. It will, as predicted by many, comes down to the trifecta of PA, MI and WI.
