Now 240-229. We’re down to:

Montana (4pm EST)
Oregon (4:30pm)
California (5pm)
Hawaii (7pm)

Probably be close to 6pm Eastern by the time California actually votes and pushes Biden over the top. So have your libations ready.

This is what I posted on Trump’s Facebook page about today in response to one of his rants

“Oh, do go on. I just love watching you lose. This has been the most delicious day for me, watching history’s biggest loser lose and lose and lose again, in real time.

It is so much more satisfying than watching you lose the first time. I’m glad that you love to lose.

What a gift to me and everyone else that hates your fat lying butt and worked diligently to get rid of you! Thank you for this, it felt so good watching you lose the first time but I never believed I’d get to watch you lose several times a day for almost six weeks.
It’s been like having a 40 day orgasm. Thank you, President Trump, for being such a big big loser! “

A pro-individual 1 Arizona group has sent a slate of electoral college votes for Individual 1 to the National Archives.

I can’t believe this has gone 19 minutes without a “Like”, so please allow me to provide one.

You tell him, Ann!

Beautiful. You are a winner!

From that article:

That is not a sign of a healthy democracy, I fear.

The electors are literally having to meet in secrecy, out of fear of an attack by Republican Party Terrorists.

Let that one sink in.

Well, they claim to represent the “sovereign citizens of the state of Arizona”, which is unsurprising. Probably something to do with Biden being ineligible because he doesn’t have gold fringe on his head.

Seven million out of 160 million isn’t that many. It’s a swing of four percent, and only 3.6 million have to switch to give Trump an electoral vote lead.

It’s not at all surprising that a capable COVID-19 response would have swung that; I didn’t need a study to guess that. Given an incumbent administration, people tend to vote based on how they feel things are going.

Did the “sovereign citizens" consent to be represented?

I’ve just got to pipe up - redundant, i know, but this is all friggin’ crazy. It is ridiculous that we’re tracking the electoral votes cast on December, 14th. When is the last time anybody ever did that? Never. It would be a story buried somewhere on page 10 - Electoral Votes cast for President Elect. Sale at Penny’s.

That we have to give any sort of attention or time to listening to Trump and his minions moan and cry and break every norm, not giving a shit who they lie to, what sort of douche-bags they look like or how much they’re just making our country look fucking stupid on the world stage is goddamned depressing. I’ve been riding this four years pretty mellow, but fuck me, I think I’m starting to crack.

Did they create joinder for this submission?

More BS out of Nevada -

Trump is now suing in New Mexico (who as far as I can tell already cast thier EC votes), gotta grab those valuable 5 EC votes!

My sentiments exactly. I was naive enough to think that the shocking events of November, 2016 would be over in four years. I was naive enough to think that the long nightmare was finally over on Nov 3, 2020. It isn’t. This damage to the fundamental underpinnings of democracy may last for a generation. The thing that was unleashed in 2016 is not easily going away.

Yeah, everybody’s voted now except for California and Hawaii.

And I concur that it’s crazy that we’re even paying attention to this.

And you know how the WaPo called up the offices of all 249 GOP Congresspersons a week or so ago to ask if they acknowledged that Biden won?

Only 26 of them did. But the scary part is that the numbers probably wouldn’t change much if they did the same thing tomorrow, even though the EC has voted and everything.

i wonder if WaPo will do a similar call tomorrow. You know, to get a longitudinal survey. And then again on January 7, and on January 22, and then every month thereafter.

Am I reading this correctly that there have been no faithless electors (so far)? I know we were all saying that it would be unusual to have more than a handful, but is it also unusual to have zero?
