Election Day [Week][Month[s]] [Year] 2020 follow-along thread

That’s the 118. Biden has 209. The ones in pink are leaning Trump but too close to call because not all of the votes are counted. The percentage counted is next to the vote totals.

NBC should be following AP more closely.

It was my understanding that wagering is not allowed in this forum.

NBC has just projected that Biden has won Virginia.

On MSNBC, James Carville: “Put the Ambien and the razor blades back in the medicine cabinet. We’re gonna be fine.”

I’m not sure that I agree with him, but he does have a way with words.

Uh, yeah, that’s what I’m doing fella. You’re the one who pointed out that my link showed Trump had won.

I never pointed out any such thing.

fella

NYT backpeddling a bit on Georgia

OK, I worked at the polls for 15 hours today, then stress-drank wine for the following 3 hours, and this provided a very welcome laugh.

Arizona seems to have stopped counting votes.

I’m calling Iowa for Trump.

Trump pretty much matched his 2016 margin in Ohio. Which does not fill me with confidence about Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Votes specifically for Biden will be rare.

I’d say It’s over Trump has won.

This was you, right?

I’d say he hasn’t.

You’d be wrong though

Georgia just moved to “Tilting Biden” at NYT Election Needles (prolly a paywall) but I think I also read somewhere that the election workers are going home for the night. So who knows?

No way Biden wins Georgia, not a chance.

Yes it was. “Shows that Trumps wins” is NOT the same as “Trump had won”

I don’t buy that. For true facism to exist, you have to have the support of the military and the police. And there is not going to be any Democratic revolution, there will be protests around the White House, just like in 2016. They will be bigger and will last longer, and eventually people will get tired and go home

I am not saying that another term for Trump will not have severe consequences, it will and many will suffer. And maybe that is what is needed.

FWIW, I’m just listening to Carville. He feels pretty good (not exactly exuding confidence) But he is confident in the Dems lawyers. He feels good about WI, MI and PA. This fucking thing is going to come down to the courts.

I only mention Carville because , in 2016, I left work at 10 PM and Hillary had a clear lead in VA. When I got home, the first thing I saw was Carville saying that Hillary would lose PA.
