I keep wondering if there’s been any voting machine hacking, given that this was a confirmed issue in several states the last time around. Don’t suppose we’ll ever know.
That’s absolutely ridiculous. Talk like that is why, in part, folks are voting for Trump.
I think Biden is doing better than it seems on the surface, because the big urban counties that tend to go for Biden are slower to report results than the less populated counties that tend to go for Trump.
e.g In Texas: The big population centers, Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and El Paso are all going strongly for Biden, but have yet to report. My quick calculation is that, on current trends, Biden is still in with a chance in Texas, or it will be close.
The Fox map (the one with the most called states) would give Trump 290 (plus Alaska’s 3 = 293, but no color yet) if all the pinks are red (and they’ve called AZ and VA to Biden)
The right-wing propaganda machine needs to be dismantled. Too few people/corporations control too much of the message. As long as someone can tune into Hannity and Limbaugh, etc all day at work, then switch on Fox at night ad be told the same lies over and over, they will make decisions based on these lies.
I’m watching PBS
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - the Republican party is the greatest existential threat to western democracy that has ever existed, and is indeed an existential threat to all life on Earth.
Biden would need a 3-to-1 or more margin for the remaining votes to flip TX
Biden ahead, yes- but not the pundits saying Biden won it. GA is now in play, even.
It’s hard to know if that’s true, if even those counties are disproportionately due to report mail ins, they might blurp back up to 2016 levels. He’s not “a fair way behind” either, and he’s WAY ahead of Clinton’s pace in Allegheny, where he’s miles ahead with only 16% reporting; he could make up a quarter of a million votes just there.
Starting in with the “Liberals made me vote for Trump!” comments early, I see.
People vote for Trump because they want to vote for Trump, and they should own that.
That sound like “let’s be totalitarian to fight the fascists”.
AP calls FL for Trump.
Oh? That’s what Trump [quote=“octopus, post:922, topic:924618, full:true”]

Kindly fuck off with your holier-than-thou bullshit. Trump was talking about imprisoning his political rivals since day-one.
Just now from Nate Silver: " A lot of states have been called on some networks and not on others. If you plug in all the states where any network has called the state for Biden or Trump, it shows Biden at 88 percent to win the Electoral College, Trump at 6 percent, and a 6 percent chance of a tie. But that depends on Biden winning Arizona and Minnesota, which ABC News hasn’t projected yet."
As a liberal authoritarian, I don’t see the problem.
Not quite as much as that, and he may get what he needs. Look at the current trends in the big urban counties.
Am I misunderstanding, or is Trump actually saying that he should automatically get any states he had in 2016?
I just saw that. Well 88-90% was the prediction yesterday
That’s fair. I disagree, but, ok.
