I’ve got some sticks for the big ones, but the flames seem to have died right down. Is the war over? Did Esprix win yet? I hope AMPM’s okay, I mean that kid kicks pretty hard…What!?
Well, yeah, I guess he did kinda deserve it, but…Yeah, I’m the same zoogirl that likes scorpions and creepy crawlers…Oh! Okay I get the point! Nah, it’s just that I feel sorta bad when I see anything get hurt. I figured by now Exprix would have put him out of our (giggles) oops! I mean HIS misery!

Here’s the boring story: A long time ago, at a University far, far away (well, currently five hours by car), I used to belong to an online community much like Da Dope. As I would write messages on my way to class (of course I would visit the lab between each class, wouldn’t you?), I would usually be too much in a hurry to proof what I was writing. Therefore, I got sloppy, much like LifeOnWry speculated, and would sign my messages “JOhn.”
Of course, friends started pointing this out in the way that loving friends do (sarcasm, insults, mocking put-downs), so I thought to try and be a bit more careful. Even more of my friends made note of my trying to be more careful, so I decided to start intentionally signing things “JOhn.” Since then it became something of my trademark, which helped considerably as there were several people in this community who shared my first name.
There, that’s the long, sordid, mundane story. I hope it was worth it. 
Now, I’m going to scan the wild speculations. There may be something in there that I can use in the future…
