To make us think you are helping town in some way? Or to make us think that if your claim was fake, you would never have done that?
From someone who can count her town power roles around here (other than mason, which I’ve had ridiculously often) on the fingers of one half-mutilated hand — grrr.
Even if I didn’t think that was a cover role (which I do – although nothing beyond a gut feeling), I’d still be very sorely tempted to vote for you, just for being Ryan Seacrest.
Right. That would make me a non-demon, pushing for a mass claim and having a 3rd party to lynch (holding the book I haven’t located myself) - and I just wouldn’t claim pure vanilla. No. I’d go for the spectacular.
Hmm, don’t at all sound like the way I play.
However - we seem to have located the book and I view myself as nilla right now.
Just really can’t see your logic here - or maybe it’s the other way around and you simply can’t see mine.
Are you going to make me look the name up in a wiki - or would you tell me why the name should make us all think twice?
Please, please say yes to the former
I had to look it up.
Look. I claimed like I did, knowing it would raise an eyebrow and two.
But I’m a firm believe in letting Town making informed decisions. Emphasize on informed.
I could have put the vanilla PM out there and left the rest to the spoilers. The reason i didn’t was that I really don’t see much use in the power I was given and I think if Town don’t believe my claim then lynching me will be as good as a vanilla-lynch. And that would be where we would start anyway.
At least this way I tried not to be a distraction if Storyteller would reveal me as something other that vanilla in the Night-color.
I can’t see the point in discussing this much further. I can’t tell why the Mod did what he did. I can only tell what I was told and share it with the rest. That is… sort of… the entire idea of a mass claim.
Nice. Didn’t tell me much.
Some dude that totally love gossip???
I’ve been working two jobs this week (one of them temporary) and you do not want to know what my sleep schedule has been like. It is more frightening than anything in this damn cabin…
So that’s one pesky PFK under our thumb, and I do think you need to go, Tom. I also think we should enable Natlaw and can adjust my vote accordingly.
Vote Tom
I can’t see how we don’t have this one pretty much in the bag at this point. Even if a few of the Town claims we’ve heard are big fat lies (and I can’t fathom there being more than a few people left with incentive to lie) there is an arsenal of powers to utilize for seek/destroy/confirm purposes.
And here is my Vanilla role:
Host of American Idol. Is that obnoxious enough in itself for a vote?
Quite possibly.
Total, why would you conclude your role is now useless? It isn’t unless Tom does take it to the grave and it never resurfaces – pretty big ifs.
Yeah, I can’t believe you guys are killing me and letting Ryan Seacrest live.
You said you would roleblock me. Them’s fightin’ words.
Oh wait, missed this. So you explicitly deny responsibility for Omi’s death? Everybody has claimed, and NOBODY has claimed that kill?
It sounds to me like he is definitely planning on taking it to the grave with him. And, with our grave robber dead, there’s a good chance that it won’t resurface.
What I want to know is what is gonna happen to the zombie squirrel? Does it just run amok? Does it have to kill every night? Can I have it?
You can’t have it. It’s MINE!
Well, maybe Ryan Seacrest can feed it while I’m away.
I’d be happy to take it. I promise to feed it well.

Raised the squirrel on Day 2 and killed Astral with it on Night 2. Though that was Guiri, before he had that contract dispute. Just for the record.
It’s not that I conclude it’s useless now. But I’m shooting in the dark with it. I’ve tried shooting at scummy dudes for a while - but really in a game with this many players my chances of guessing right it close to pointless.
I’ll keep guessing as long as I’m alive - but that’s what it’ll all be. Guessing.
And it’s not like the role can be proven. I come back with a name saying “nope, they didn’t have the book” and that will not prove much.
Should I guess right, I suppose Town could benefit - if I was to be trusted. But all Town knows is I’m not a demon.
Too many if’s and what if’s to make the power really useful. If I had found the book and claimed it would have be a really neat power. But now… not so much.
