Ack. I forgot to **Unvote: Natlaw **from yesterDay.
And now,
**Final Vote Cookies **
This is true, but rather misleading. I targeted Normal Phase, and the action would have been aggressive had it been triggered. However, the aggression would not have been directed at Normal Phase.
My full role PM:
I used up one shell trying to protect Idle on Night 2, when he was killed by his own ability. On the other nights, I set traps on Oy!, special ed, Normal Phase, and Normal Phase again last night. (Thus, I still have two shells remaining.)

Interesting.
Final Vote Cookies
I suppose the question at this point is who gets a taste of the boomstick before you guys lynch me.
I’ll have intermittent access until Friday, after which I’ll be offline until Monday at the earliest.

McGinty, any indication what would happen if you attempted to protect or set a trap during the Day on a player who was about to be lynched? Those seem much more like Night powers than Day and/or Night.
I don’t know what would happen, and I agree that they don’t make a whole lot of sense as day abilities.
Wonder if Ed’s strongman extra kill could have been Day or Night. It seems like a lot of things in the game protect against potential daykills. I know Oy’s flower protects for an entire Day/Night cycle.
Day or night actions, McGinty? Use your last two shells and blow Cookies back to the hell from which she came!
Does scum ever have a day power? How about PFKs? Would McGinty proving her shotgunning ability confirm her as pro town? Or just anti everyone else?
If cookies is gonna swing today anyway, McGinty’s shotgun could effectively deprive the scum of another night to kill, and we could choose a new lynch victim.
Oh, and lets stop the final votes for Cookies until we decide this one. I don’t think we have half the votes yet, right?
Just a wild thought…
Perhaps Mrs. McG could use her shotgun to kill Cookies during the day today?
That would confirm Mrs. McG’s role, if not her alignment. It would leave us free to lynch someone else toDay. But if Mrs. McG is telling the truth, we might do better to save her shells for a trap. Also our investigators seem to be doing so well at night, we might be better off not having 2 deaths before dusk.
Ack. Crossposting. I count 6 final votes for cookies, and I believe we need 9.
I investigated McGinty last night. I didn’t receive anything from story at Dawn.
I asked him if there was any news. He didn’t get back to me.
Either he’s missed my messages, or I screwed up the request, or I’ve been blocked.
I’m pretty sure I didn’t screw up the request, because in one message I nominated Hal and McG for my Day/Night investigations, and I got a result on Hal.
story, is there anything you want to share with me?
I like the idea of taking out cookie in stead of ending the Day early.
We seem to be doing fine and an “extra” lynch might be all we need right now.
I’m almost disappointed Cookies didn’t try to fight it. I could think of at least two ways I could have been wrong.
Mrs McGinty, you planted a trap on Special Ed? I’m ashamed of you, grandma.
Here’s the thing. If Cookies turns up third party, I’d say that McGinty is confirmed, because the Scum already lost their strongman, and Mahaloth has been pretty much mason-confirmed. If Cookies turns up Scum, McGinty could still be a third party. So using the last two shells toDay may not have the benefit of confirming McGinty. I think that taking Cookies out toDay is probably the best move for Town, but it may not end up confirming McGinty’s alignment.
Well, here’s a thought. I woke up this morning convinced that there are a total of seven Scum in this game, not six.
My reasoning? Evil Dead 1 was a 24 player game. It had six Scum (one a Strongman) and two SKs. This game was quite specifically a 30 player game. We’ve been told, and have no reason at this point to disbelieve that there were two hostile 3rd Parties. Town has a lot of Powers. So I’m inclined to believe there is a seventh Scum (one has been a Strongman) to balance Town’s numbers and Powers.
Then again, story might have considered the Necronomicon’s considerably greater powers this time around to be balance enough.
I agree that McGinty should off Cookies.
But before that, I gotta ask: What does your robot hand do?
