THE MOB (Variously)
Cookies killed Omi No Kami! Kill her! To the woodchipper! Get her! I don’t even like Cookies! Well, Chocolate Chip are OK, but those Vienna Fingers suck!
Close on Cookies. She rises to her full height: surprisingly, she is about eight feet tall. Long, sharpened claws extend from her hands. Her face, we note, is oblong, equipped with at least three rows of razor-sharp teeth. Her body is covered with thick, metallic plating. A runner of saliva drips from her teeth; when it hits the ground, there is a sizzling sound.
SOMEONE
Huh. You’d think we’d have noticed that before now.
Fearless, the mob presses toward the creature that went by the name of Cookies. It hisses dangerously. The mob raises its weapons. Then, suddenly:
A VOICE
Wait!
They turn. Stanislaus has stepped out of the crowd, and now moves to stand protectively in front of the creature.
STANISLAUS
What are we doing?

Ssssssaaaaggggghhhhh (this means “what,” but in Alien)?
STANISLAUS
Haven’t we evolved enough as a species to stop solving our problems with violence? Surely we can spare this poor creature, which has clearly traveled far and battled bravely? Also, does anyone have any Xantac?
Suddenly, Stanislaus’ rib cage bursts open. From within bursts a tiny creature, identical to Cookies but much smaller, snarling with terrible menace. As Stanislaus drops away, the tiny creature rears up beside its parent. Orchestral sting.
EXTRA
Holy shit!
For a moment, there is a standoff. But then the woodchipper, so near by, springs to horrible life again. A strange violet mist rises up from the woodchipper; Cookies and her Spawn spin around and assume defensive postures. But the mist surrounds them; when it clears, both are gone. Sated again, for the moment, the woodchipper grinds slowly to a halt, a strange green goo now mixed with the bright red stains about its entry.
Cometothedarksidewehavecookies, the Alien, who was a Malicious Third-Party (Serial Killer), has been lynched.
Sadly, Stanislaus, the Improbably Skillful Computer Geek, who was pro-Town (Mason/Investigator) has also been silenced.
The Night begins now, and will end as usual at around 3:00PM on Monday afternoon. Have fun!

I’m guessing it was inevitable, and as I said above, I think (hope) that it was because Stanislaus was her first vote, and not because she “impregnated” a lot of us, the first one being Stanislaus, and he just happened to burst forth at Dusk. Because that could be a Very Bad Thing, but could also account for how little Cookies seems to have killed outright.
OK, now I’m just sick with the possible ramifications of that idea. We need to find the two or three remaining Scum and find them fast, because it’s possible that Stanislaus’s is not the first chest that will burst.
Well, hopefully this was just a one shot deal here, but that wouldn’t be a bad idea for a Game, would it? An Alien Recruitment game?

Presumably, Stanislaus found these people the most suspicious, and I’m guessing there is some Scum to be found among the unidentified in that list, because I have great admiration for Stanislaus’s abilities as a player. So, despite her fellow mason’s death, I think Normal’s investigations still have considerable potential to be valuable, as do, of course, OAOW’s.
I think Normal should again be Protected toNight. Her confirmed Towniness outweighs the limitations of her investigative abilities. IMHO.
