ezzie izzard:dress to kill

Just in case any of you is interested, on my website I’ve put an archive of early Eddie Izzard years, from when we worked together, way before he developed his current style.

[To Mods: although there are commercial bits of my website, the Eddie Izzard stuff is free, honest. It’s behind a page you get to by ‘referring’ the site to two other people, but I’m sure most SDMB peope are sharp enough to realise you can dump any old nonsense in the referral fields and it still works.]

[And if they weren’t sharp enough to suss this, I’ve just told everyone]

[Although genuine referrals to real friends would be nice]

Enjoy.

{Grabs ianzin firmly by the shoulders and kisses him soundly on the lips}

I figured I find you here. Thanks for keeping me in your sig. Makes me feel all warm inside.

BTW, my son and his best friend were ahem introduced to Dressed to Kill this summer.

They loved him too.

I’m covered in beeeeez…!

Too much jam.

It was late I forgot his name, still, funny shit.

“I claim this country for Britain!”
“You can’t claim this country, theres 500 million of us!”
“Do you have a flag?”
“no…”
"No flag, no country, its the rule that I just made up.

I have every publicly available recording of Eddie… Glorious, Unrepeatable, DTK on VHS AND the audio tape, which is a little different, etc, etc.

I also saw him live last year.

You can touch me.

go see the video.

A long time ago I saw Eddie do a routine on (I think Channel 4 - or wa sit BBC2) from the MOntreaux Comedy Festival. He did soemthing about being raised by wolves and the wolves having a little car.

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on either a video recording of this show or a transcript?

Cheers - you’ll be my bestest buddy if you can help me.

Woo-hoo! A thread I can really get into. I’ve been a fan about 4 years now and have turned countless people into Eddie Izzard nuts. My plan is by the time I’m done I’ll have all of Ball State Campus converted

My friends and I have an ongoing joke about the whole flag part. We always go around campus claiming parts of it for ourselves since there is no flag on it. Remember “No flag no country…”
