Family Guy - 7/24

The way I interpreted this joke is that apparently; in the past, manatees (sea cows) were mistaken for mermaids. However, her character is played as being so ugly that the sailors don’t even mistake her for a human with a fish tail, but for a manatee.

Personally, I can’t get enough of the middle-child bashing (it might help that I am the eldest of my siblings), or of the jokes draw out for too long.

Meg’s the first born!

Damn, I’m gonna have to start watching that show again. What channel is it on?

Well, that was the season finale. But the new episodes start September 11th. It’s on Fox on Sunday night at 9pm.

Family Guy website.

Repeats of the new Fox episodes also air on Thursdays and Sundays on Cartoon Network.

I believe they also air at some point on TBS late at night.

Forgot about those . . . and that’s how I started watching it on Adult Swim.

:smack:

There are WinAmp stations out there that broadcast Family Guy 24/7. I spent a good day watching them not too long ago. They also have Invader Zim, which is also a good show.

Adult Swim tonight had the Lois-black belt episode. I think the last ten minutes are one joke drawn out for far too long. Essentially the family is fighting each other (violently too) and only stop to laugh for a moment when Peter’s head goes through the rear end part of a picture of a horse, then Stewie hits someone with a lamp and they go again. It was one big joke about violence on TV.

It was? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Oh goodness no. I love every kick and punch.

Kicking, Lois?”

Oh no, I enjoyed it too. I’m in the camp that still thinks it’s funny when they do that.

Also, the direct-to-DVD movie Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story is due Sep. 27th. It’s not nearly as ambitious as the South Park movie, but there are a number of good moments.
