Remember too that Adventure Peter requires 1250 moons.
Does Meg have any tasks that generate moons? I just built Oceanland, and unlocking her requires a 20-hour task from Peter. Devoting that much of his time would only be worth it if she then generates moons.
There are two butt totals. The amount in TOTAL you’ve collected is on the bottom and the amount you have available to spend is up at the top near your money.
I don’t know what the pyramid countdown is and I don’t know how long we have to get Cleveland.
…arrggh. Just got the notice that Asiantown is open, and this image popped up:
I’m sure in the context of an episode Anime Peter must have been quite funny. But having him just pop up on screen like that is enough to make me give up on the game for good.
I have Adventure Peter and a new list of tasks. I was hoping he would generate moons faster, but not really. My quest line with him requires me to free Cleveland, which is going to take a long time. I don’t know whether this means that he won’t be able to enter the pyramid when it opens.
The game is definitely prodding me to use clams to free Cleveland.
I think Mermaid Peter earns moons at a higher rate than Adventure Peter. I’m still trying to figure out which joint tasks are worth doing for the moons. I think Joe and wife’s lapdance together earns more than just the wife alone.
Cleveland takes forever…I just got screwed by the game - both Lois and The VideoArcade dropped the last two watches I needed for Anime Peter. I send Lois on her skank task and boom the game crashes. I re-start the game only to find that the game re-set itself and I’m back having to click on Lois and VideoArcade who do NOT drop the watch…ugh - piece of utter crap game…yet I keep playing
Well, I’m going to let you in on a dirty little secret. Wait until the Video Arcade (or Lois) is ready to collect. Open the game normally. Turn off your internet on your phone WITHOUT leaving the app. Collect Lois. If you get the rare item, turn the internet back on immediately, again WITHOUT leaving the app. If you don’t get the rare item, close the app and do a hard close. Turn internet back on. Open app, and you’ll find Lois will be ready to collect. Turn off internet and repeat the above steps until you get the rare item. Be warned, sometimes you have to go through the process 5 or 6 times until you get the rare item. I’m almost done with Cleveland because I use this method. Only use it on rare items because it isn’t worth the hassle on common ones.
how on earth did you figure this out (and if you read about it on-line, how in the world did THEY figure this out?)
I can’t imagine this is worth the hassle on ANY item. I have been short a sea shell for mermaid Peter forever, and I wouldn’t do this. 5 or 6 times? That is dedication!
I have to admit, I am intrigued by this, even though it seems like a lot of work. I may get to a point where I need to do something like this to get Cleveland.
Clever. Much less waiting for bathtubs, giraffes, eyeballs, and headbands! And I don’t think there’s any way that they can patch this either without major changes to how the app connects to the interwebs.
Of all the geniuses I have known in my time, you, sir, are the geniest.
I can confirm that this works on my Android phone. It is labor-intensive, but if we’re still playing this game, presumably we have a high tolerance for a certain kind of tedium.
