Two of the saddest love stories ever, I’ll grant you that. You must be one of those “glass half empty” people. Or maybe “romance half dead” is a better way of saying it. 
Song for Marion, (I think it was “Unfinished Song” in the states) dare you not to cry.
Brilliant movie that captures true love, Terrance Stamp is brilliant as always. People concentrate on the husband but it is the gift of the wife that shows true love, she shows him how to let her go and find his voice, she is dying and what she cares about most is her husband after she has passed.
True Romance.
