Favorite Song Du Jour.

“Make Me Bad” by Korn.

A recent song I think I like is “I’ll Never Let You Go”, by Third Eye Blind IIRC.

It’s at least frequently taken control of my brain, and when I start singing it about the house, Mrs. Milo gets the affliction too.

It has three distinct, brain-infecting catchy parts:

  • The chorus “I’ll never let (switch to falsetto) you go … I’ll never letyougo.”

  • The spoken part.
“I remember the stupid things, the mood rings, the bracelets and the beads … etc.”

  • The repeated part at the end.

“The girl is like a sunbeam … I’d just like to say, she’s like a sunbeam … I’d just like to say.”

Writing this will, of course, have me singing the damned thing for the rest of the night.

Give me immortality, or give me death!

MrC, knock that shit off! Between you and SingleDad, you’re gonna use up all the male sensitivity bonus points on this board and make the rest of us look like pathetic slobs!

Oh wait…I am a pathetic slob… Never mind!

I have chainmail underwear.

Lucky Me by Mindy McCready

Do I just have to pick one? Well…I can’t…so here are a few:

  • “Lucky Me”–Mindy McCready

  • “Don’t Laugh at Me”–Mark Wills

  • “This Time”–Sawyer Brown

  • “Keep it Together”–Madonna

  • “Me Neither”–Brad Paisley

  • “Chain of Love”–Clay Walker

No Me Ames (Don’t Love Me) by Jennifer Lopez. They hardly ever play it on the radio, because it’s all Spanish. I have the CD though, and can’t get enough of that song.

Also Never Let You Go by Third Eye Blind, and Higher by Creed.

I’m ashamed to admit this, but I really, like 'NSynch’s soon to be hit single, This I Promise You, written by Richard Marx. Yes yes, I know, I know. But, I like the song.
