Favorite song right now?

I’m wondering, what is your favorite song right now?

For me, it is “Sleepwalk” by Santo and Johnny. It’s actually one of my all time favorites, but I recently heard it on an oldies show on the radio, and was able to tape it.

“No Leaf Clover” by Metallica is stuck in my head, which is about as close to a favorite song as I get… save that “La Vida Loca” would qualify as a favorite song by that criteria. Other common stuck songs are “The Ubiquitous Mr Lovegrove” by Dead Can Dance, and “Close My Eyes Forever” by Ozzy and Lita.

Computers have let mankind make mistakes faster than any other invention, with the possible exception of tequila and handguns.

My girls just got the Brittney Spears album from their aunt.

Therefore, I’d say my favorite song is anything BUT “Hit Me Baby One More Time.”

Probably Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. I especially like Oscar Levant’s version.

Lodi by Creedence Clearwater Revival. But then again, that one is pretty tough to knock off in my book.

Well, shut my mouth. It’s also illegal to put squirrels down your pants for the purposes of gambling.

Suddenly it’s the theme from “Shaft”…

Long separated by cruel fate, the star-crossed lovers raced across the grassy field toward each other like two freight trains, one having left Cleveland at 6:36 p.m. traveling at 55 mph, the other from Topeka at 4:19 p.m. at a speed of 35 mph.

I recently got BB King Live at the Regal and I probably listen to the whole thing 5 times a day.

“I Burn” by The Toadies

Right now at this very second?

My favorite song right now is “Two-Step 'Round the Christmas Tree” I don’t know who sings it…and if you do let me know…cuz I would really really like to find a CD that has it on…cuz I almost never get to hear it…everytime I request it…the DJ says that it was already played…and I missed hearing it ;(

Hey Derf! I love the new Santana cd album too. I have the advantage though. I actually understand what they’re saying.

As for my favorite song right now, I’d have to say Jim Croce’s “Photographs and Memories.”

I have 3 cd’s that I play all the time lately…Jim Croce’s Greatest Hits, Chely Wright’s Single White Female, and Santana’s Supernatural.

“Nostalgia isn’t what it used to be.”

“They’ll Need A Crane” by They Might Be Giants.

Bummer: my TMBG CDs were in my changer, which is in my truck, which is in the shop following the accident. Since the radio came a-flyin’ out of my dash after the accident, there’s no power to the changer, so I can’t even eject the CD magazine. Argh.
