Feel Good Friday Topic: What Fun Thing Are You Doing Tonight? (Your Responses Requested)

No plans at all, but it’s going to be a good one. Whatever happens, the thought of being able to sleep in Saturday morning is bliss.

I’m going read a little bit and go to bed early. Being old and living alone has some benefits after all.

Tonight.
I’m going through my camping gear, assembling what I think I’ll need for a 7 night canoe trip in August.

Go visit big bro with little guest, watch star trek movie, eat popcorn

Listening to my son-in-law’s band play a gig.

Hmm. I wasn’t able to finish any of the things I’d hoped to get done today, and tonight’s game was canceled. As I’m still unemployed and have no money, I think I’ll putter around and stew in bitter self-recrimination for a while. Maybe with some nice bean and salsa dip.

I might go for a walk later. The sight of young, happy, attractive people out enjoying the weekend is sure to cheer me up!

I have been travelling all week part work/part looking for somewhere to live in Oklahoma for when we move in a month. I got home at 1AM this morning and was up with mr ems at 4.30 when he went to work. We is tahred.

Therefore Friday night has been designated “laze round and do nothing but drink good wine and eat snacks night”. There may be some snuggling later :stuck_out_tongue:

Love these threads!

Same as every Friday night: not. much. (old, tired, unpopular, and lethargic). But that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy Friday nights! For instance, Friday is chili dog night at Casa Sali, I have an armload of books I reserved at the library to read, and it is now 68 degrees outside, which is cause for rejoicing because today was like a sauna out there!

it’s Saturday now, but our Friday was nice.

A late breakfast, a little billable work, a long leisurely lunch on the back patio in perfect weather, a little more billable work, then off to a minor league baseball game which the home team http://www.rivercityrascals.com/ won handily. Fireworks after & lots of youthful girls to watch during. Summer doesn’t get much better than this.
