Let’s all share something big or small that we are looking forward to this weekend. If you can’t think of anything to look forward to - feel free to pass this thread right on by!
For me: I’m looking forward to filming zombies! My group is trying to raise some additional awareness/funds for our local library system and are going to be shooting some PSAs to send out on teh interwebz. (Libraries feed brains, brains feed zombies, help the zombies).
And when it’s all over - I’m looking forward to sleeping in!
I’m looking forward to working with Habitat for Humanity tomorrow. I only get the opportunity to do it a couple times a year and it’s so fulfilling. Plus, I get to wear my toolbelt and build shit. Bonus!
I’m looking forward to giving a public show at the planetarium tomorrow night, followed by a night of salsa, merengue, bachata and cha-cha dancing. I fully expect to spend most of Sunday asleep!
I was hoping to finally get up to Singing Beach, but it looks like the weather might not be conducive to it. Mom turns 71 tomorrow, so I hope to have a nice long conversattion with her.
Party Sunday night. Reading, movie watching, coffee drinking, and chilling out will round out the rest of my weekend.
Like jjimm, I’m looking forward to the US/England World Cup game but hoping for a different outcome! And, of course, to sleeping in. I just bought some fabulous new sheets and I’m going to wallow in them.
Joining a friend for a lunch of crustaceans today and then I’ll wait for the rain to stop so I can get at all those “weeds” thriving in my flower gardens.
Going to watch the country I was kicked out of beat the country I unwillingly returned to in open field ball kicking. Fermented beverages might be needed.
I look forward to seeing the happy face of my kid on his tenth birthday, as he’s having his buddies over for Slip and Slide, epic water gun and water balloon battles, and large amounts of cake and pizza.
My daughter’s high school graduation ceremony is Saturday morning. She got a Bright Futures scholarship and a couple of other small ones. I am totally convinced I must have brought the wrong baby home from the hospital, but still very proud of her!
