Muahah, today’s a state holiday! Eat it! MUAHAHAHA!
My Friday was yesterday. 
This weekend, I’m having dinner with my mother, and BBQ’ing with my wife. My wife also wants me to take her to the carnival.
In other words, I have absolutely nothing to look forward to.
Not a damn thing. There are three “festivals” going on this weekend, one of them a hot air balloon fest, so that means it is GUARANTEED to rain. (Sure enough, it’s cold and raining right now.) I wanted to fire up the grill and cook enough for three days! Maybe I’ll bake something instead.
Monday, which is the Queen’s Birthday public holiday.
What did I do this weekend so far? Started off the weekend with a visit to a retro cafe and had an old fashioned vanilla shake, fries, and a Patty Melt. This morning I went to the nursery that I volunteer at, and sorted plants by ID, and watered the greenhouse; later I came home and finished hauling and spreading gravel in my back yard, having taken out the grass that was there previously.
Tomorrow I plan to design a gazebo to be placed in the newly graveled area, and go to Home Depot to check out materials. And grill some chicken, veggies and Ahi tuna on the grill for supper. Then I’ll sit on the patio and watch birds at the feeders and sit wine with my main squeeze.

It rained here to. I feel so bad because every year people put so much time into these festivals and they get rained out. I went to the dance which was inside and the kids taught me some new dance moves. It was mostly rap music.
I miss the 90’s!
