Feelin' sad

Things aren’t the way I want them to be right now. I’ve talked with various friends about it, and I feel a little better, but I still feel kinda weepy and anxious.

Just felt like sharing that.

I’m gonna go to bed now and try to get some sleep, and with any luck I’ll feel better when I wake up.

Well, I’m sorry to hear it. Hope tomorrow’s better.

How long has this been the case? What particular aspects can you identify as not being as you’d wish, and do you know how you’d like them to be different?

Oh. One more thing. Are there things in your life, however small, that you can control?

Howdy Geobabe,

Sorry to hear you’re feeling blue. For what it’s worth, I’ll send some happy thoughts your way. (I don’t do cyber-hugs, but perhaps a cyber-grope could be arranged on request.)

Life transitions can be difficult (and even non-transitions can be tough, too), and I have an idea of what you’re going through. It sucks, but you’ll get through it.

So, ::: playful punch on the chin :::, buck up there little one. (Isn’t it just useless when someone tells you to buck up like that?)

In conclusion, have a nice day.

Geo! I love you! It breaks my heart to think that you’re sad right now. I’m sure that with your strength of character and vibrant life force, this too shall pass and you’ll be back on the road to joy and debauchery!

My god, that’s how Brady would want it.

jarbaby

I feel the same way, my girlfriend just broke up with me through an e-mail. Life’s a bitch.

What jarbaby said about vibrant life force!

I wish I was there to give you a real life hug! I’m thinkin’ of you! {{{{Geo))))

Did I miss a thread? Why are you feeling sad? Guess we’ll just have to cheer you up at RT’s on Monday.

Aww, Geobabe… I wish I knew what to say to make you feel more cheerful. Know that I’m sending you whole bunches of happy thoughts, OK?
(((((Geo))))))

One o’clock AM is a bad time to be reviewing your situation. It may be that the unexamined life is not worth living, but the life that’s examined after midnight often seems that way. Hopefully things will look better in the morning.
Then again, it’s broad noon right now and I’m examining my life and it’s not looking so hot…

Aww, thanks, you guys! I’m still kinda blue, but I feel better just knowing there are people who care. Some of the things I’m sad about are just things that will pass, and hopefully the others will be resolved soon.

{{Lux Fiat}} thanks
{{iampunha}} pssst…pun, honey, I’ve been through enough therapy, I know the drill, but thanks.
{{Billdo}} I do do cyber-hugs, so there
{{jarbabyj, magdalene, and BunnyGirl}} wanna hug all three of you together!
{{clayton_e}} sorry about your breakup
{{dcnewsman}} no, you didn’t miss a thread, I didn’t feel like sharing the details…see you at RT’s.
{{Serendipity}} thank you so much, sweetie
{{Finagle}} 1 AM isn’t so late when you work until midnight

I just met you 'hon, please don’t be sad! I hope its nothing I said. I have no idea why this would make you feel better, but I was chased by a rabid chipmunk while I was biking through the woods yesterday. Really!

I can send you that pic if that would make you feel better.
What can we do to help?

Geobabe, hope you’re feeling better soon and that things (whatever those things are) go your way.

I hope everything works out for you, 'babe. If you ever want to chat, email me.

{{Miss Creant}} Thanks for the giggle! That helped more than you can imagine.

That’s just about all the girls from ChiDope so far. Awesome! I love each and every one of you. What a great bunch we got here.

Everybody, send me emails. Lots and lots of emails!

{{{Geo}}} Things will get better. They always do.

Oddly enough, have you had a good cry lately? Generally, I find that can really clear the blues out, especially if they’re low-grade and have been hanging around awhile. I always feel better after – I tell Spouse “Shower’s over, Sun’s out.”

Meanwhile, I’ll keep a good thought for you.

Hang in there – we’re on your side!

Ok, so it really didn’t chase me down, but the little booger was still pretty daring! He ran right out smak dab in the middle of the bike path! If I hadn’t seen him, he could have punctured my tire! But in the weird way of how things work, it made me laugh and I swear (I am not making this up*)I thought to myself, “I’ve got to send Geobabe an email about this” and then this morning I saw your thread.

Coincidence? Prob’ly, but none the less, still kinda cool

Oh, BTW, Geobabe, how many punches should I be expecting on Monday? I want to know whether or not to wear my shoulder pads:D
