Fi-Bars

I think that’s how they were spelled. Does anyone else remember these? Little breakfast or energy bars full of fiber and coated in flavored icing. Far superior to any granola, breakfast etc bar out there now but seem to have disappeared. I can’t even find mention of them on Google, and my Google-Foo is usually pretty good. When I lived in Albuquerque decades ago, I always had them for breakfast and put them in my sack lunch. But they disappeared after I left the US. Checked on subsequent visits and never could find them.

Anyone?

Here’s proof of existence, so there’s that.

Any website I’m finding them on is showing them as out of stock or back ordered. It looks like they aren’t made anymore.

That looks like them all right. Thanks. They had several flavors, and I’ve not found anything as good as they were. I wonder why they stopped being made.

They were manufactured by the Schiff Nutrition Group, Inc., and according to their current product page, it looks like the only nutrition bars they are currently making are the “Tiger’s Milk” line.

Tiger’s Milk? Is that known in the US now? Never heard of it.

Tiger’s Milk Bars have been around for years.

Growing up in the 60s, there was Tiger’s Milk drink mix(also could be mixed in baked goods, I think).

It was brewer’s yeast.

Must not have been marketed in Texas or other points in the West.

I remember Tiger’s Milk, but not Fi-Bars.
