I’ll join the chorus of heck no. It would have been great if the show had run five seasons…but it didn’t. I can think of no reason why a reboot would fare any better in the ratings now than the original.
This is how I would do it. You can’t stop Nathan Fillion from getting involved. Some of the others might come back. Add in, say, Dichen Lachman and some young guy to play action hero types.
As others have said, the nice thing about Killjoys is that, generally, the characters are *not *stupid (other than sometimes using the idiot plot - specifically the “keeping secrets” variant - for dumb reasons. But smart people can be dumb, too.)
Oh, and also, regulars (and I don’t just mean backgrounders) can and do die , which is again realistic.
Resurrecting this thread with news that this might actually be happening - it looks like Fillion is leading a plan to create an animated series with the original cast on voices.
Alan Tudyk is included so presumably this would fit between the original series and Serenity. Obviously Ron Glass is gone (RIP Shepherd) so not sure what they’ll do about that - recast, or maybe it will take place after Shepherd has taken up residence at Haven.
I hope they don’t digitally clone his voice.
