Firefly is being turned into a mighty morphin’ online role playing game. Given all the love for Firefly on the Dope, I figured that many would be interested in this news. It is supposed to come out in the summer of 2014.

Unfortunately, there are no videos of game play and a limited number of screen shots which seem odd to me if it is less than a year to release.

Anyway Keep flying.

Eh. Unless you can guarantee me other players will be complex, dysfunctional albeit oddly charming individuals and their dialog will be scripted by Joss Whedon :), I don’t really see the point. I mean, the Firefly setting itself is neat and all but it’s really not the series’ big selling point.
