Hmm don’t remember the title of the first one I saw, but I saw it in HS. I also have a ‘compendium’ of sex scenes from various videos (gay, straight, leather, group, amateur, etc.). Quite interesting, lots of cheesy scenes and acting. I do watch it from time to time.
My question is, have any of you seen pornos at parties other than bachelor/bachelorette parties? I have. One of my friends has a collection of porn, and at the last two parties she threw she had it on. It was interesting, when the action picked up, everyone would be in the livingroom watching (in awe, or just making jokes or criticizing the acting, the actors, and the storyline).
I think it was “The Kama Sutra”. Funny to see everyone just sitting there watching it, or trying to talk above all the moaning and panting. There were also about 20 or thirty people there too. Many also didn’t know what to say when they saw it on the TV the moment they walked into the livingroom.
My first porno was one called “What the Swedish Butler Saw.” I watched it with my older brother when I was about 11. He would have been 12. We were spending the night at my grandparents house, and we were in the livingroom, downstairs, while they were sleeping. It was about 2 am, we had the sound off, and we were watching Cinemax. This came on. I was changed forever.

Welp, speaking as a man who definately does dig women, I don’t find them arousing either. Erotica, that is arousing. Soft or medium core. Hard core… I don’t really want zoomed-in views of some strangers’ throbbing parts, thankyouverymuch.
For something to be arousing, IMHO, it has to be somewhat believable, and the characters can’t be so 1 dimensional. The more you know about them, the better it is, which is why I think the soft core “R” type stuff is usually a lot better - it at least makes a token effort at having a plot and some level of character development, which makes it all the better when said characters get it on. The XXX stuff pretty much universally sucks… wait, lemme rephrase that… it’s not very good.

Here’s a question for all you guys who’ve ever sat around watching porn videos together: Do you get aroused watching these things? Does it matter that you’re in a room with a bunch of other men? Ditto for strip clubs and bachelor party strippers. I realize that you all pee in front of each other, but…brrrrr!
And while we’re on the subject of PeeWee Herman, I was a bit confused when he got arrested at a porn movie for, what?, public indecency? It was my impression that getting aroused was the whole point of watching them. I’ve never been to a XXX theatre, but I get grossed out thinking about the mess in the theater. And I’m not talking the popcorn, either. Or am I way off base, and the patrons simply watch the movie…?

I’ve also heard that in many theatres there are women hanging around who, for a small consideration, will help you with your problem. All of the above being the reasons I’ve never been in a porno theatre.
However, I have been in several strip bars with friends or by myself. Speaking for myself, when I’m talking with my friends, having a drink, or just generally checking out the ladies, I’m “at ease”. When a dancer comes to my seat and is the focus of my attention, I rise to the occasion.
