I’m not into flash games, so the fact that I played it for 30 mins says a lot.

Damn. I sucked mightily my first try (731, level 21,) mainly due to a very random and haphazard placement I started out with in the beginning. Now that I have a bit of a feel for it, we’ll see if I can do better.

Reminds me a lot of Rampart, one of my all-time favorites.
There was a game very similar to this posted to Fark a couple of months ago. The cannons were fire, water, and ice, and the graphics were very simplistic. You had to defend a castle. I found that game very fun.
This game is actually an improvement, as the thugs are humorous.
completed the game 9109 on the first try. (was a tower defense nut back in warcraft) i don’t see how the scores can get > 100k… !

Level 29. The more I strategize, the worse I get. Fire faster, my little cannons, fire faster!!!
Any hints? It seems to me that fire towers are the best money spent, but I could be wrong.
A water cannon near the start of the track is worth its weight in gold.
Rocket towers. Essential to get to the later levels.
