She’s cute, has a good smile, and can laugh at herself. Also she’s got some good writers backing her up.
I confess, I don’t like that I like her. But…hey. I also liked the cave-men.
I think she’s cuter and funnier as Stephanie Courtney, standup comedian. The “Flo” persona grates on me. In this, I differ with my good friend Cluricaun.
She seems cool, but something about her just pisses me off.
I’m indifferent to the character. The actress is cute and, I am given to understand, a pretty good comedian. I would take the time to check her out in a different role.
I didn’t even know she was popular as anyone other than Flo. Will definitely be checking out her stand up later this evening.
I didn’t see the other thread. Was Clancy Brown the winner?
Stephanie Courtney is attractive, and the commercials are reasonably well-scripted and funny, as commercials go. But, I can’t get past Flo’s excessive make-up. It makes her look clownish and creepy. So I voted no.
She is fine with me. Add one to the plus column.
I like her. I think the commercials are very hit or miss, but she’s fun to watch even in the bad ones.
I love the commercials she’s in (sue me, I enjoy good commercials) and the ones where the actress plays every character crack me up.
“I’ve got the meat sweats!” is a common line with my entire family. Even the pescetarians.
Now I’m picturing the fish sweats, which would have to be worse than the meat sweats. Ack.
She was fine in the early commercials, but Progressive is overusing her and putting her in inferior ads, so she’s dissipated a lot of my good will.
“I’ve got the beet sweats.” for vegetarians.
I like her. She’s funny as hell.
I find Flo funny and quirky, but I sure would hate to work with her every day. Some days, she just gets on my nerves.
Flo is pretty high on my list of “likable characters unique to commercials”, all of which rank pretty low on my list of “overall likable characters across all mediums”.
(Though I’m excluding merchandise-heavy franchises and “30 minute commercials” like MLP/GI Joe/Transformers/Anything Hasbro from the “commercials” category here)
Never seen/heard her.
Y’all need to get out of the commercial watching business.
I generally have distaste for folks trying to sell me insurance regardless of their quirkiness.
I think it is fatigue, I went from feeling nothing about her to she has been around too long with too many awful commercials.
