Now that’s just silly.

I don’t think so. Remember how the beat cop investigations in M2 (that were 50% accurate), hurt the town? Had we killed Hal a little later, but before he revealed any results, it may have been a bit better for us.

Agreed…my death didn’t make MHaye right all the time, it just removed the false results. He still got a number of "no reading"s that I wouldn’t have gotten (had I kept my fricking yap shut).

Only a little bit. I think it would have been better if we had found you a Day maybe two later. On the whole I think taking you out early was better then leaving you in too long…but we didn’t find MHaye fast enough. Like I said, it just had a bit of a bite, it wasn’t hugely harmful to our cause or anything.

False results can be very powerful tools for scum. “No reading” results cannot. Well, unless there’s a recruit, and the detective is using a “no reading” to avoid inditing fellow scum.

Many of the claimables alive at the time were unrecruitable.

Maybe that’s why Blaster Master was so keen on Mod Killing me. I’ve been stumped as to why my role got such different treatment regarding substitutions than anyone else. If it was for balance, then it sort of makes more sense.
I just think the game has gone on so long that any kind of real analysis would require a huge investment of time to go back and read everything. No one wants to be the one to do that research. Even if they did, there’s so much evidence now that sorting through it and making some kind of sense of it is next to impossible.
At this stage, it’s going to come down to mostly: (1) gut feelings; and (2) what the players say toDay and toMorrow. The past is going to be mostly forgotten, or briefly summarized and then forgotten.
I agree with all of you saying it wasn’t hopeless. I seemed to be the only scum thinking that we still had a chance. Heh, when you all see the scum boards you’ll see my topic “rallying the troops”.

Now that isn’t fair. I never stopped thinking we had a chance, I just recognized that we needed to start working harder.

Zuma is the only one who voted to conceed.

Yeah, you didn’t really ever say you want to give up, I know. But I seem to remember most everyone (but me) saying that it wasn’t really possible to win anymore.
But yeah, you’re right. You never did want to give up. Neither did the other Cultists. But zuma, man, come on. It wasn’t as bad as you thought it was, was it? Was it, zuma?
