Just got home. Didn’t read. I survived - mostly; nasty blister tween the toes. Just need to unpack & put away the rest of the stuff & then off to bed because alarm is set for dark-thirty. 
I worked. I went to hockey. the Canes were winning. then they lost. Vile profanity ensued.

Looks to be a pretty day today. Not too cool, getting up to 60. We have to do something with the leaves out back, but with him so busy with school irk it’s not going to happen today. Looks to be in the 60s all next week so a good time to get it done.

Gonna deheathenate in a few hours; ekemom and I sing in the choir. 31 Amerikan right now. ekemom just asked me to make sure her feet are covered by the blanket-- they were. Even with the space heater, it’s cold enough in here that she couldn’t tell. This will be a fun winter.
Right now, debating with myself whether to stay up and play the game vs. Wisconsin, or get a few more Z’s. Leaning towards the first.
Looks like it’ll be neither-- roleplaying instead, and keeping warm beneath my blanket, you know, for the most part.

I tried an experiment last night - I let Higgs sleep with me. She settled down around 10 and soon we were both unconscious. But my bladder woke me at 3, leading to letting the pup out to tend to her bladder. When she came back in, she wanted to play. rah. I did my best to ignore her, but it was still after 4 before she settled again, and I was awakened again a bit after 6 by a dog standing on my chest, psychically willing me to get up and fill her kibble bowl. So we’re up.
She’s been fed, I’ve been fed, I’m caffeinating, and it’s freekin’ cold out - hovering around 30. It’s supposed to get into the lower 60s, and when it warms a bit, I’ll run the mulcher/vac around the front yard. That’s the extent of my chore plans for the day. OK, I might change the sheets on our bed. And I’ll definitely swap out the bath towels. But not a lot of productivity in store. Netflixin’ will comprise the majority of the day. That and building 4 sammiches for work week lunches.

Today’s plans include deheathenization with the Luteruns and makin’ dindin. Nappage shall also be accomplished I do believe. I know, how do I keep up such a fast paced life. 
OK, I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence. Gotta look good for the Luteruns!

ekemom is up and in the shower. I RPed a little bit and then played the Wisconsin game; it was pretty ugly, like 80-6 or something. Regular season finale is next, at UCLA.
We’ll be headed to deheathenization as soon as Mudder is out of the shower; after church comes Mickey D’s, then off to the big city for some library time so that ekemom can upload the church service onto the website. My comp will be present also. Dindin is whatever we get at the Karaoke place, I guess?
Up and caffeinating. Just about to breakfast (eggs, bacon and pan fried sweet N.O.T.s, for [del]flytrap’s benefit [/del] those following at home.
I’m mostly hanging around at home today after the being gone most of yesterday. Laundry and other chores must be done.
Up, back from church, and getting ready to light some fire up; split some wood and get a bed of coals started. Today is going to be a “smoke stuff and watch football” day. Some semi-boneless ribs, some beef brisket and the little-bits-o-lamb. Want to do enough to have leftovers for say 10 days. There isn’t a smilie for it but I’m rubbing my hands in glee ----- I love cooking when it at least has the appearance of danger.
Much accomplishment has ensued. I’ve showered and dressed, changed the bed linens and the bath towels, vacuumed up all the leaf bits, cat hair, and strewn kitteh litter, and scooped the cat box. Go me!
It’s warming up - after lunch, I should be able to attack leaves without freezing my ears off, tho I should wear the ear muffs - my ears were ringing yesterday when I finished. I’m thinking the last of the stew will be lunch, and I’ve got a sweet potato to bake for supper. That’s as far ahead as I intend to plan for now.
