They pull extra mass from the same dimension as Ant-Man.
Maybe its that glam thing and not an actual face.
Perhaps the Waif did a perfunctory search of Braavos and couldn’t find Arya (who has gone to ground). She figures that Arya has made for Westeros (or will shortly) and decides to hitch a ride with the first ship heading that way. She fixes herself up as Arya and acts the high lady because it is better traveling first class than steerage.
Stannis?
Good theory, except she doesn’t need to disguise herself as Arya to get first-class passage. The ship captain doesn’t know that “Arya” is highborn, he just knows she is loaded.
My theory is that the Waif disguised herself as Arya to make it easier to search. She just has to ask people, “Have you seen anyone who looks exactly like me?”
The Mountain. He got better. For variable amounts of “better”.
Khal Drogo. He goes comatose in the next to last episode of Season 1, and Danaerys mercy-kills him in the next episode.
Maester Luwin was mortally wounded and later mercy-killed by Osha, but it was in one episode.
Xaro Xhoan Daxos and Doreah were locked in a vault but not seen to die, but there’s no reason to think they will reappear.
We haven’t seen Lysa Arryn or Balon Greyjoy’s corpses, but no one doubts they are dead.
We did see his, they floated it out to sea.
Thanks. I forgot that scene.
I’m pretty sure Lysa Arryn’s funeral would have been a closed casket affair. Or maybe multi-casket, based on the way she described the results of Moon Door executions.
Or perhaps more plausibly, “Have you seen my twin sister?”
That would be nice, but I have a sinking feeling it’s 11 days. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if Arya’s in the next episode at all.
Plenty of speculation on the whos and hows of Arya’s stabbing.
I think her motivation for heading back to Westeros and ending her relationship with the many faced cult is the realization (probably starting with the play) that this isn’t who she is. She’s not some anonymous assassin, killing people for no reason. Despite all she’s been through, there’s more of her father in her than she realized, I think.
Yep, the Silent Sisters may be good, but they aren’t that good.
The DirecTV show description for Sunday mentions Arya.
I think the Arya situation is actually going to be pretty straightforward. She’s wounded, someone will finally help her, she’ll hide, she’ll heal, and she’ll kill the Waif in episode 10.
We have already seen that in the last season when the Waiff turned into Jaeqen.
I was thinking that too, but the next episode is called No One. Ok, so they try and have multiple things to do with the titles (ie: Theon also being a broken man), but the short summary does mention Arya, so she’s doing something next episode…
A man is sure a girl will live.
But which girl?
It’s all the same to the Faceless God.
I think we will see some kind of twist, mostly because Arya’s initial behavior made no sense given her circumstances. On the other hand, I don’t think it’s going to be as hyper-convoluted as some of the suggestions. IMO, either extreme would be bad writing (not that that’s not a possibility).
I don’t think whatever magic the Faceless Men use actually changes the subject’s body size; it just causes everyone who directly interacts with them in person to perceive them as who they’re pretending to be.
