Like Joshua at the Battle of Jericho…
Shaka, When Walls Fell…
Liked the end of Littlefinger.
Missed opportunity for Dany. One “Dracarys!” and she walks over to the Iron Throne…

Hell, the Dothraki spend their entire lives going from one fight to the next and there are far more than twenty thousand of them. Their mere existence guarantees that there would be plenty of work for a mercenary company. In fact there was three mercenary companies in Essos that stood against Dany, her last boyfriend lead one of them.
Besides Littlefinger, Tormund bought it too, I think.
Also loved The Hound’s biggest grin to date when Brienne told him the only people who need protecting are those who get in Arya’s way.
Yeah, I really don’t buy the whole kidnap the dead plan. It was never going to convince Cersei, and Tyrion and Varys both would know that. She might have agreed to it, but that fucking arena would have been filled with wildfire. Cersei would have lit the Dragon Pit like a candle.
Where?
This Aunt/rightful ruler stuff in light of what is happening is false drama…with maybe some weight on the aunt part.
Let’s say Jon and Dany find out together:
Jon:“I don’t want to rule the seven kingdoms, you can…as for you being my aunt, I don’t care, it doesn’t change what I feel. Besides the bloody Wall just collapsed.”
Dany: “I agree.”
Now maybe down the line I can see Jon sacrificing himself so that Dany and their child can survive. “Take this sword, give it to him.”
That sort of thing.
Edit: And how insignificant can Theons storyline get?? FFS. Jon should have just called him brother and they can kill him off in ep one of next season fighting side by side.
The undead dragon was terrifying. Was he shooting ice? Fire? Pure energy?
I took it more as Essos is to Westeros as greater Europe is to Great Britain, and like Great Britain, Westeros’s power and influence is disproportionately large relative to its size. (Size not counting areas north of the wall)
They brought it with them to get the dragon, duh! They’ve been planning this for millennia.
In the old AD&D system, undead dragons (called Dracoliches) breathe “Spell Fire”, which is pure magic energy or such like.
Questions, why was Tyrion playing peeping Tom at the end there? Also, Kit Harrington has a sweet, sweet auntie boffing ass. What is Jon’s name? I still didn’t catch the first name.
Am I reading to much into the fact that Bran’s voiceover explaining that Jon/Aegon is the true coincided with him topping Daenerys? :dubious: I mean I can’t complain to much since the camera sees more of whoever’s on top, but still. And maybe he’s right about the witch being wrong. Also when is somebody finally going to tell Samwell (who took all the credit for something Gilly discovered) what Daenerys did to his father & brother?
Littlefinger dying took me completely by surprise. I especially loved the part were he was literally reduced to begging for mercy on his knees.
I think I missed the part were Sansa actually sentenced him to death.
And how exactly did LF betray Cat??
Also, Hey Sansa he saved your bacon twice.
I did say this a week ago.
Not too far off!
I was really hoping for a line from Sansa, “I didn’t exactly get to the part where I sentenced him to die.”
Where did Jaime go after he saw the snow starting? Did he go back to the dragonpit, Kings landing, or North?
Well, he led to the death of her husband and prevented her sister from helping her in the War of the Five Kings which led to the death of her son, her grandson, and herself. No big deal.
Kinda like Mirri Maz Durr in season 1, does it really count as saving after you destroy a person’s entire life?
That was a really cool episode. They had me going for a bit there that Cersei would actually help them out. Season 8 is set up nicely now.
Yes! His story line has gotten ridiculous.
Aegon. I didn’t like their choice in naming him for the show. His name should have been Jaehaerys.
He has feelings for Daenerys that he knows will never be reciprocated and can never be acted on.
I think Belric and Tormund are both alive. They were next to each other when the night king was having viseyrion melt the wall and we just got that speech from Belric last episode about possible reasons why him and Jon were raised from the dead. If he was raised for a higher purpose then we will get to know it in time and if not, they have to actually show him die. Anything else would be stupid.
This was the actor who play rhaegar btw…
