I have been hit on a few times, usually they are rather neutral experiences. I feign ignorance/obliviousness, and the woman loses interest, no harm done. A couple of times my sister and I have been mistaken for a gay couple. I don’t know why, other than we have different body types (I’m short, she’s taller) any my sister favors “flannel shirt” attire and no makeup. But we look rather simular in the face, so I don’t get it. Anyway, one time an aquantance seemed quite amazed when I mentioned “Oh my sister says this…” He said “You’re SISTERS?!?"” And then there was the one time that we got treated like utter shit at a store. I am firmly convinced that they thought we were gay, which was their motivation for their treatment of us. What jerks.
There was one time that I was rather offended by possibly being “hit on” by a lesbian. An aquantance (girlfriend of a friend) was talking to me, and commented that my bra wasn’t fitting right. (I have a buxom figure, and it’s hard to get bras to fit properly.) So I had this “three boob” pooch on my chest. This woman poked my boob “pooch” and said “What is this?” I don’t know if she was officially “hitting” on me or not, but I did not appreciate it. I certainly cannot think of any self-respecting man (or anyone) who would come up to me and POKE my boob. Why this crass woman thought she could get away with it because she was female is beyond me. I knew she was a lesbian, she knew I knew - so what was I to think? What a creepy thing to do.
