Sorry for not posting sooner, but electrical storm from last Thursday knocked out my cable and intarweb and I was out of office yesterday for vacation (yardwork, wheee).
I am about 80% sure I can make it, varying based on MissLlama’s Uncertainty Principle. I will surely be attending by my lonesome and am game for either D&B location (or wherever though I really loathe driving in the city proper).

The difficulty is that my father-in-law’s birthday is that weekend. However, my in-laws may be planning a trip somewhere, and would, in that case, be celebrating the next weekend. They haven’t got all the details ironed out, but I believe they have actually been planning…Which is why I say probably. I should find out a bit more this week about their plans, at which time I will be in a better position to judge my own availability.

Okay, let’s do it this way: Since I’m not really good at playing the mother hen, why don’t we just leave it that Quasi and date will be at Dave and Buster’s(I-75 and Delk Road) on Saturday August 23rd at 7 pm.
Those of you who can make it, you’ll know me by the “Quasimodem” airbrushed t-shirt, and we’ll just play the rest of it by ear.
Diane and I will be staying at a nearby hotel, so we’ll be in no hurry if y’all want the party to last a little longer.
I had hoped to have a little more help in organizing this, but I understand that people get busy and the best intentions don’t always make it, so no hard feelings and I hope to see y’all that night, okay?

Is there a reason you chose the Marietta D&B over the Duluth one?
D&B thing sounds good to me.

mouthbreather, I had originally thought that your offer of a get-together at your place would make Duluth the ideal location, bu then when I didn’t hear back, and the only other two people interested in Duluth were “maybes”, I chose the I-75 location because it’s closer. We can still meet in Duluth. It makes no difference to me. I would just like to get a concensus.
