Just to bring this thread back up, do we have a consensus on the location? Or, what’s the score? Duluth vs. Marietta?
Terrorcotta, looks like the Duluth location is the one that was chosen. I was kinda just waiting to see if we had any others that wanted to join us, and I’ll post again as new situations arise or the list changes, but right now I’d say 7pm at Dave and Buster’s in Duluth.

Hey Georgia Dopers! I am brand-new to SDMB but have been reading “The Straight Dope” for years (anybody else remember Southline?) I would love to meet other aficionados. August 23rd is okey-dokey, as is anywhere in the metro Atlanta area. I can get from Winward Parkway to Chamblee Tucker (285/85 intersection) in about 20 minutes on a weekend. That whole city thing, with the difficulty changing lanes and one-way streets intimidates a suburbanite like myself.
As for a guest Quasi, count on just me with the very remote chance that the missus will show up.

I still would like to come, depending on when the Anniversary Party is over and I can leave with little guilt. It’s my little sister’s show anyway. I am included only because Mom told her she had to invite me, and because my sister cannot cook. I promise to bring leftovers if I am able to attend.
