AFAICT, my October calendar is blank. And no reason I can’t do Aug. 25, if it comes to that.
Inasmuch as the majority has spoken, I will call the nice park lady in the AM and query availability of 6 Oct and 13 Oct. News tomorrow, kids.
I’ve got the permit right here on el-desko so we are good to go. For those of you with great memories, we’re back where it all began with Gettysdope I, at the Kiwanis Pavilion. For those of you with shorter memories, we’re at the one closer to the parking lot than where we were last year, which was the Lion’s Pavilion.
We can use the place from 1000 until dusk, and I’ve got no clue when that is for early October. A sign will be posted proclaiming Cecil Adams as the authorized group.
Critters are permitted-no statement about leashes, but anything they deposit is the owner’s responsibility to manage.
Inasmuch as we had no firm date until now, I’m going to begin logging who, what, and how many starting with this post forward.

Yay! I can come. This may be my last Gettysdope, so I would have been very sad if I couldn’t make it. (I may be moving to Orlando in November-ish or later.) But I can. And, as I said up-thread, I call the person-who-can’t-cook’s contribution of dining implements such as paper plates and plastic-ware. And nametags, since it’s tradition. 
October 6 should be great! Count on two humans and two four-legged family members. All deposits by said four-legged family members will of course be promptly disposed of.
I have no idea what we’ll bring at this point, but I’m sure it’ll be yummy if Papa Tiger cooks it.
ETA: Dumb question: What park is it in, anyway?

And dusk, since it’s after the equinox, is definitely on the early side – 5 or 6, I think.

I’ll be there. Maybe with a husband, maybe not – definitely no critters. I’ll bring pierogie casserole. Early autumn is an excellent time of year for that.
We’re in for October 6th. Two adults (well, mostly adult), one teenage-type-person, one mudgirl.
Deb and I are in. I’ll bring dry ice and some form of food (haven’t decided on what yet).
Excellent! I’ll bring the bubble stuff. (You do realize, of course, that as the bringer of dry ice, you’ll be in serious trouble if you blow us off this year?)
I’m having a picnic on September 15th, now that I know it won’t clash with Gettysdope. We are about 1 hour or so from Gettysburg and offer an invite to those who can make it. Our house is in Schuylkill Haven. For those of you unfamiliar with the area, that’s about 1/2 way between Harrisburg and Allentown and we’re right off Route 78. Two exits away from the new Cabellas.
Directions for those who ask. Should be fun!
