Mudgirl managed to find that one little patch of mud in an otherwise dry park. It was warm and dry that day too, as I recall. If there’s mud to be found, she’ll find it.

The list looks like it’s light on the fruits and vegetables side, unless I include the attendees. Har har har. (Sorry. Will have coffee and try to come up with a better one.)
Heavy on the nuts, though.
I have no car for the weekend, mine is in the shop and my in-laws have returned from their vacation so theirs goes back to them today. Just as well, since i’ll probably end up working anyway. Stupid job.

I didn’t find salt and pepper in picnic-size containers. I’ll check again tonight when I pick up buns.
It’s not just me, it’s two extra people one of whom requires a car seat. And seriously, I will end up working Saturday, since Sunday is the Canadian Thanksgiving party and I’m NOT working then.
Salt and pepper have been obtained. Fruit and veggie trays will be purchased tomorrow.

Apologies for not having clarified this earlier, PA dog law requires that unless on private property, the owner or handler must exercise control over the dog. A leash is recommended.
Given that we are sharing the park with others, my comments are offered as an advisory so everyone has an enjoyable experience.
Since I am bringing some dry ice up (I still do not know what it is for…), I will also be bringing something cold like ice cream sandwiches or popsicles.

twickster had the idea of blowing bubbles onto the dry ice to freeze them and watch them shatter. Family fun for everyone!

No problem, dances, we always take the pups out on leashes. Maryland law – at least in our county – only allows them to be off-leash in designated off-leash areas or when “training.” We do take Isaac off-leash to throw his toy for him to retrieve, since that is how we reinforce his good behavior, but that’s only for that limited purpose and then he’s right back on.
But there’s nothing saying the dogs can’t go into a mud puddle while leashed. Just try 'em. 
Last minute, I know, but I had previous plans for this weekend that fell through recently. I will supplement Morgyn with the drinks.
