I have every reason to be there, sharing the same room. She told me that she ordered two separate beds. How should I act?

It’s a “two week” relationship. Enough said, IMHO of course. Years ago, I had what I thought was a budding relationship. About 2 months in, some guy from two provinces west is suddenly “visiting” her for the weekend, staying at her apartment and I don’t exist. After he’s on his way, she tries to act like nothing’s happened. She tried the “we’re just friends” line. Yeah, right. That was the end of that.

This was back around 1973 so perhaps lots has changed in the “early relationship” world since then, but on that front, I kinda doubt it.
