Another McGriddles fan here, though I seldom have them due to the high caloric content.
I’d like to try one of the KFC “Famous Bowls” as well…

Finally saw the famous bowls commercial last night. I’ve been craving one ever since. Is is possible to crave something you’ve never eaten? I’ll probably get one tonight or tomorrow, depending on when we decide to go see the DaVinci Code. Can’t wait!
I came here just to mention how much I love Wendy’s fries! I don’t like McD’s, BK, or Taco Bell, but whenever I drive past the Wendy’s drive-thru, I get a major fry craving.
The fries at my local drivethru are always piping hot, firm, and potatoey. Yum! They’re the only fast food fries I’ll eat.
I guess I just don’t get it either, then, because I asked the same thing when I saw the ad.
I used to love Arby’s curly fries. I don’t think there are even any Arby’s around here anymore.
When I was pregnant with my daughter, I ate a LOT of McDonald’s hash browns. Now, I realize that they are really just hot grease and potato mulch in a paper pocket.
I try not to eat much fast food these days. Keeping a fitday food journal has ruined a lot of eating for me.
Trunk and lorene – I know what you mean about the cheese. Cheese and gravy didn’t seem right to me, either. I had planned (when I ordered my first famous bowl) to tell them to hold the cheese. But I forgot. And I’ve gotta say, counterintuitive as it seems, the cheese works.
Yellowval, did you have one this weekend? Wasn’t it good?
Haven’t tried them, but apparently Burger King has something called Cheesy Tots that she described as “deep fried macaroni and cheese”. She swore they were awesome.
The worst fast food around has to be McDonald’s. I dislike Subway… mostly because there are so many better places to get a sub around.
As for the ones I like, I like Wendy’s because they have the best burgers of the national chains. 5 Guys’ have the best fast food burgers I’ve had but they are not national.
Silly boy. Your girlfriend was not trying to make up after a fight with you. She was simply taking a long term and non-culpable approach to your demise.
Unfortunately, I live a very long way from my favourites: pastrami sandwiches from Pancer’s Deli in Toronto: http://pancers.sites.toronto.com/ , and smoked meat sandwiches from Schwartz’s Deli in Montreal: http://www.schwartzsdeli.com/index_eng.html .
When it comes to fast food from large chains, I quite like Swiss Chalet’s roast chicken on a kaiser sandwiches with their dipping sauce: http://www.swisschalet.com/aboutus/swiss_story.html
In the late 50s, while my dad worked on CANDU reactor design and my mom ran security, they courted in Montreal over bagged lunches of roast chicken sandwiches and dipping sauce from Swiss Chalet, and smoked meat sandwiches from Ben’s Deli. They would take their lunches to the rafters of the Montreal Forum and watch the Rocket and the Pocket Rocket practice and go on to win five straight Cups. I suppose I owe my existence to fast food from Montreal, the Montreal Canadiens, and CANDU reactors. Yay Canada! Yay Montreal!
No. sniff My husband bought a 125-gallon aquarium on Friday, so we spent the whole weekend moving furniture to make room for it, and setting it up. That meant no KFC for me. I did get a Dairy Queen chicken strip basket and a peanut buster parfait though (we have a DQ but not a KFC in my little town). Yummy!
ooh… a Peanut Buster Parfait… I love those!
