I’ve been hearing about Graham crackers since Leave it to Beaver. Never tried one, though. I wonder why some things become international and others remain For US Consumption Only.
There’s a cinnamon type?! Where? WHERE, DAMMIT!
Nabisco’s Honey Maid brand has had a cinnamon variety for as long as I can remember; my mom would buy them for us when I was a wee lad (late 1960s / early 1970s).
Because you Aussies didn’t have enough anti-sex whackos in the 19th century.
I must seach these out in my local groceries. Perhaps I will leave work early!
When I was little I’d eat them soaked in milk. Now I eat them spread with cream cheese, and in all the usual piecrust configurations. And S’mores, of course. And occasionally, plain.
Cinnamon sugar coated graham crackers are, and have been, plentiful forever! I’m sure they are in every grocery store in the USA.
I eat my graham crackers with Nutella. Yum!
Apparently I had a deprived childhood. Maybe my mom kept me out of the cereal aisle to keep me ignorant!
Just had a graham cracker with maple syrup drizzled over it and spread with tart cherry jam. Not too shabby.
Graham crackers are very good. But I don’t love them involved in s’mores. I don’t love s’mores. They’re a camping travesty that I assume everybody else just pretends to like.
Barely warm chocolate with a too-sweet mass produced travesty of marshmallow? Yuck.
Do this instead: Buy good marshmallows. Buy Nutter butters. Open two Nutter Butters and put on rocks next to fire. Roast good marshmallow. Put half of marshmallow on each Nutter Butter and reclose. Enjoy living in heaven.
You can also do with your own peanut butter (though that gets runnier when hot) and graham crackers and is also very good.
Like Ned Flanders, I like mine plain “with a glass of water on the side for dipping.”
Just kidding. I like them with milk.
Yes.
Also occasionally spread with cream cheese and strawberry preserves.
Not if you and every damn one of your sibs threw up graham crackers on a moving train.
This. I don’t even bother breaking them into little squares; I just crush a couple fistfuls into the bowl. The kind with cinnamon are great this way too.

Dang it, guess what my after-work snack is gong to be today?
We have some of this stuff in the pantry- the chocolate kind - wonder how that would go with graham crackers? I may have to buy some and find out.
