Graham crackers are the best thing ever

I like mine either plain or mashed up in apple sauce.

My kids like them with peanut butter.

And of course who doesn’t love them when they’re involved in a s’more? Or when they’re supporting a cheesecake or keylime pie?

How do you eat your graham crackers?

In a key-lime pie! Or just plain, with milk.

Freeze Graham cracker sandwiches made with a thin layer of chocolate cake frosting between the two halves. Eat them on hot summer afternoons.

Graham crackers, broken into little squares, in a bowl, add milk and eat with spoon.

Comfort food.

My grandfather died when I was just a little kid, but I remember he showed me how to make this wonderful delicacy. Although I don’t really remember much about him, I do have fond memories of eating graham crackers and milk with him whenever I would visit.

Memory lane… I haven’t had them in…oh…forty years. Time to buy a box and yum out!

(Maybe a box of Cap’n Crunch, too, as a sinful delight. Ah, youth!)

Excellent! I used to make these for the kids but didn’t think to put them in the freezer.

My frosting is just powdered sugar stirred up with some milk and melted butter, and vanilla (or lemon or chocolate or almond).

This.

I started by dunking each individual cracker in milk before eating it, but quickly realized I had no patience for half-measures.

I really like graham crackers. But for some strange reason, over time I forget all about them. Then something like this pops up and I remember, “Oh, yeah. I like those. Why don’t I buy them more often?”

Does anyone have a strong preference for a particular brand? Are there “gourmet” graham crackers? I read once that “genuine” graham crackers are made from graham flour, not regular flour. Any guidance here?

I always spread the graham crackers with Cool Whip, put another on top, and froze them. I gave them to our daughter when she was little. Sort of like ice cream sandwiches, only cheaper! I was such a bad mom. Ha!

I eat mine to suppress certain urges. However, they don’t seem to work for this purpose.

I saw on some thrifty-living site to layer them with applesauce and top with whipped cream or cool whip, like a refrigerator cake or banana pudding. I tried it and left it overnight, and it was pretty good, some would say soggy, but I thought it was almost like a mousse.

I think this could get me into some serious trouble! Sounds yummy.

Why do you all hate masturbation?

I loved them dipped in milk. Haven’t done this for a while, might have to pick some up.

I have to deliberately NOT BUY the cinnamon type, else I devour the entire box in a sitting (along with 1/2 gallon of milk).

I got some fancy lime curd in a jar at TJ Maxx…guess what kind of miracle occurs when you spread this on a Graham Cracker? OMG instant key lime pie!

I melt a stick of butter, add a bunch of brown sugar, pour over a panful of graham crackers, and bake it til it all melty and slightly chewy.
There are recipes online but I don’t know the official name. We call it Crack.

With peanut butter sandwiched between them THEN dipped in milk. Sweet Jesus!

Graham crackers and milk is pretty awesome too. I can’t stand Golden Grahams…they are a disgusting alternative.

I used to spread a square with whipped cream cheese (easier to spread) and top with another square. If you wrap this up and bring it to work, after a few hours it softens up and it’s a little like cheesecake. Also, even though I live natural chunky peanut butter, conventional smooth PB is much better on graham crackers.

Either supporting a cheese cake, or a brain pie. Pure heaven, either way.

Graham crackers with peanut butter is one of my favorite snacks.

I used to eat them plain, while drinking a glass of milk. On one hospital visit, though, I was given graham crackers, peanut butter, and milk as one of my snacks. I tried it. I liked it. It was a miracle…food, in a hospital, on my diet plan, that tasted good!
