My thought was that they should have made reference to Monroe and Rosalee’s TWO children at the very end so that the fandom could have run itself ragged speculating on what might have happened to the third. But they’ve already got a series on NBC about triplets where one of them dies, so that probably wouldn’t have worked out.
We went into the episode wondering how the hell are they going to wrap up this series in one show. Well, they did and quite spectacularly to boot.
Our biggest unresolved question, though, was what about poor Juliette? She got screwed over the worst of anyone on the show and I really wish they had tossed us a bone about her. But be that as it may, I’m gonna miss the show. Gotta find something new to watch now.
You folks have made me quite glad that I skipped the last season or half-season or whatever it was.
Now my Grimm ends with Nick and Renard standing over the dead body of Mr. Bigbad and I can imagine that they simply shook hands and went on with life. With Black Claw destroyed and the Royals beaten.
Actually the last season has several of the best episodes ever.
and i liked the ending.
The episode that dealt with elderly Vessen was probably my favorite episode of the show, ever. It was so touching and poignant, and the cast handled it well. I just don’t think it could have come in one of the earlier seasons and still had the bite that it did, but it slid into this season quite well.
As for the ending, we got a fairytale. It had some really dark points and ended on a happy note, with the book literally being closed on the show. I can see how people might not have liked it, but I thought it was fitting.
Exactly. Funny how some dust got in my eyes near the end there…
