If Hank’s not a Grimm, how can he see Hexenbiests when they transform?
I seem to recall someone (think maybe Monroe) saying at some point that a Wesen CAN show his/her creature form to an ordinary (non-Grimm, non-Wesen) human, but it generally has a very bad effect on the Muggle’s mental health.
I kind of got the impression that everyone can see it when they go full-on transformation but only a Grimm can see the little slips. Isn’t that how they were going to break it to Julia?
True. Nick took Juliette over to Monroe’s, and asked him to transform in front of her (which Monroe was very worried about doing, because of the effect on her).
Oh, right. And he announced he was going to transform right before he did.
Can’t wait to see the conversation between Nick and Hank next week.
So is Juliet going to get her memory back as to who Nick is?
Interviewwith Russell Hornsby, who plays Hank.
I forget, did she actually see Monroe transform, or did she collapse before that could happen? I’m just wondering if she remembers that, too. If she does, I think that just leaves Wu as the only one left in the cast who doesn’t know about this stuff.
She collapsed before Monroe turned around. (I wonder if she remembers going to his house!)
What? No comments on Monday night’s ep, the first on AFTER Hank has learned about Wesen? And the ep where Monroe and Rosalee dial things up a notch? Where IS everybody?? I liked this ep - Monroe, as always, was priceless! I think Hank is handling his new view of the world admirably…and I think it is going to add to his working relationship with Nick. Juliette’s scene with the beaver repairman? Points to the beav for a quick recovery!
Haven’t watched the episode yet, hope to at some point today.
Monroe’s reaction when Nick told him Hank knows was good.
Wonder how much he gets to fix a broken beaver?
OK, that TOTALLY made me LOL!!! I suppose I could’ve phrased that better, but where’s the fun in that?? ![]()
100% Agree.
Mostly I’m glad that they’re resuming the season at the end of this month – I was afraid they were going to make us wait till January!
Happy they’re resuming on 9/28 >/= annoyance there is not a new show for two weeks.
Yeah, I meant to dig up this thread after the last episode. It was the first ep in a long while that I actually enjoyed.
First, they got rid of that horrible voice-over in the title sequence: “There once was a man who lived a life so strange, it had to be true…” So bad. I almost cheered when I realized they had cut it.
Secondly, this episode had the necessary amount of Monroe to make it good. Juliet wasn’t quite as bland as usual and I like Hank finally being in on the big secret. If the show can keep this up, I’ll actually look forward to each week, instead of being all, “What’s left on the TiVo now? Oh, right, Grimm. Eh…”
When Rosalee said that she needed to be tied down … I kinda sorta wanted to volunteer to do the tying. Ahh, a boy can dream.
I’m not into the furry, but I gotta say Rosalee is rather fetching as a Fuchsbau Wesen.
So, was the Labor Day episode a new one? I didn’t record it because I thought I would get home from my trip in time, but it took longer than I thought. Last nights rerrun was the episode with the wessen with the big teeth that Nick’s mom killed.
