It’s obvious Juliette is being set up for a fall by the writers. What and how is still an open question, despite Potions By Monrosalee getting on the case.
ETA: Was I the only one that figured out the link between the kid and the rednecks within roughly 5 minutes?
Nah, that was the most obvious non-twisty plot ever. It’s like they didn’t even try, they just laid it out there.

Kenneth (or whatever his name is) is abandoning Adalind for Juliette, Adalind goes to Nick for help, but she doesn’t tell Nick about Kenneth’s plot. Is she going along with his plan despite being afraid of Juliette?
I don’t really see this ending well for Juliette.
You know the saying when the offer is too good to be true. So yeah, if Juliette takes up on the offer for real, she’s going to get burned as bad as the trailer. Be a queen. Right. I yelled NOT THE TRAILER!!! at the TV. I’m hoping Wu in all his enthusiasm, maybe managed to digitize the books.

My wife asked what I thought of Juliette. The best I could come up with is that she’s a better actress than the two actresses playing Thea and Laurel on Arrow, and that Juliette’s storyline is better than those two. I couldn’t find anything more positive than that.
It seems to me that Wu is such an enthusiastic student of this crazy world he has been thrust into that he might have filched a couple of books so he can read about monsters and beasts and such while he’s chillin’ at home. Maybe they get lucky and solve a case that way. For a more complete solution to the problem, I suspect that they will eventually be gifted with whatever materials Josh’s father had in his possession.
THey still have/had those materials.

I can’t see a single way to redeem Juliette - depowered or not.

I thought the only way (the actress playing) Juliette would not be the worst actress on television would be if Kristen Stewart had a tv show.
It is especially noticeable since (the actress playing) Rosalee is so good.
Now there’s a thought…
I’m thinking that since Wu spent all that time poring over those books, he’ll now be their main resource when it comes to identifying new Wesen. That’s his value to the team.
