I don’t think Kenneth is Human, or he would not have been able to kick Renard’s ass like that.
Bitsie apparently said don’t look for Juliette and Nick to be getting back together any time soon. If she embraces the Hexenbiest thing, she could make a powerful ally for Renard.
I don’t give a rodent’s rectum if this is a spoiler or not; my favorite part was in the previews for next week where Rosalee shreiks, “She’s a freaking hexenbiest?!?”
After all of this, either Nick and Juliette should get back together and the writers should lay off of relationship issues for a season or two, or else they should break up. Their constant on again, off again relationship is starting to feel like a soap opera.
Remember the beginning of last season, where Nick would occasionally go all cold and corpse-like, after he’d been a zombie for awhile? Whatever became of that plotline, I wonder?
Josh had to leave Philadelphia and go to Portland because his home had been ransacked by some Verrat agents who were searching for one of those special, important keys that we haven’t really heard anything about in a spell. Trubel is just confirming that Josh is back in his home again and nothing crazy has been going on.
Kind of an artsy episode. I liked the police chase with the lights through the trees, etc. They’re putting the pieces in place for what could be a fun showdown/finale, if they don’t blow it.
The writers were a little inconsistent. Monroe said that only human body heat could keep them from freezing. Yet car heaters seemed to work just fine.
As for Juliette, well, if I found I suddenly had powers, and could move objects with my mind, or blow the backs of people’s heads off (not that I would), I’d think it was cool. If I knew my wife wouldn’t like kissing a rotting corpse, I wouldn’t transform while kissing or any other intimacy. But I know, her personality is being at least partially altered by becoming a hexenbiest.
The Wesen of the Week didn’t make any sense, they could have done better. All the way to the beginning, when the car broke down, the dude was in there by himself. Where were the other two already if they were traveling together and needed each other’s body heat to travel?
Also, have the writers forgotten that the house belongs to Juliette? Why would she leave her own damn house? I have had a little issue for quite a while with Juliette’s whole story, anyway, as she’s supposed to be a veterinarian. Veterinarians work crazy amounts of hours and are generally consumed by their work - especially when they own the practice as was alluded in the first season. She hasn’t worked in at least the last two seasons, has she? Did I miss a segment where she sold her practice or something?
I didn’t understand why the hibernaculum was supernaturally cold upstairs, much less why it was so hot downstairs. Those people seem like they couldn’t survive a cool summer night, much less winter.
That’s what I’m asking about. Each one only attacked others when their cars broke down, which means that car heaters work just fine in place of another person. Even though they’re not supposed to.
In universe - She’s confused. She’s mad at everyone, except for Renard apparently, but she doesn’t know what to do about it. Even though she’s avoiding Nick, she may not have decided that she truly wants him out of her life.
Real life - Maybe the writers are having Juliette temporarily move out because Nick did that once and the writers don’t want to repeat themselves.
She probably does her job off screen. Or maybe she has an underling or two filling in for her.
