It’s a little late in the day, but…
Happy Canada Day (Up Canada Way).
It’s a little late in the day, but…
Happy Canada Day (Up Canada Way).
For thee on guard we stand!
O Canada! (mumble mumble mumble) … guess I’m American.
Colbert just mentioned Canada Day on his show. “I just celebrated Canada Day the way I always do–by not knowing it was Canada Day.”
It would have gotten a lot more press if Michael Jackson had died there.
Happy Canada Day!
Um, I celebrated in a typically Canadian way. I got up early, made tea, and did some housework and then some gardening. Then I read books and puttered and studied BC strata law because I start a new job on July 6. (Eek! Yay! Eek!)
There will be fireworks tonight, but we aren’t going, as it’s a drive into town proper, and then leaving again is a nightmare and I have to be at the office early tomorrow and, yeah… maybe another cocktail and amble around the block with the dog.
Happy Canada Day! (Remind me to take my flag out of the shrubbery tomorrow morning.)
Maybe Canada will die this week. Not that I’m wishing the death of a country as majestic as Canada, known for its mighty maple, enduring beaver and common loon (well, that’s what it is), but heck, kicking the bucket sure seems to be *en vogue *these days.
